It's true, Methadone is mainly given for heroin use, but they also prescribe it for benzo use, so if she was taking any type of Oxy Contin, Xanax, Klonopin, she would be administered Meth also.
Oxycontin is not a benzo. Methadone has no clinical indication for benzo abuse. Standard treatment is a gradual taper.
