I don't think it's so much a problem with sexualized women as it is a problem with sex in general.

As you've pointed out, he grew up in a fundamentalist household. By definition, fundamentalists in all religions have a problem with sex, especially when it's other people having it. Luke sees his work in the industry as an attempt to fight pornography, and "un-sanctified" sex in general. And this redounds to his need for his father's approval.

His problems with his step mom preclude any sort of Oedipal complex. I'll grant you his need for a mommy figure, but that's due to his real mom's untimely death more than anything else.
