Ralph Wayne Cripe, 23, and Beth Kaesemeyer, 22, who worked as a manager at an unspecified Treasure Valley McDonanld’s, are in the Ada County Jail on $75,000 and $50,000 bonds. They were arrested by Garden City Police Wednesday night.

Garden City police and Ada County prosecutors say Kaesemeyer and Cripe met the victim at work and befriended her. At some point in October, Kaesemeyer is accused of bringing the girl to a residence, giving her alcohol, and then having sexual contact with her. Cripe is accused of having sexual contact with the girl that same night.

Garden City police confiscated a cell phone and computer in connection with the case. Detectives are investigating a report that Cripe may have used a cell phone to photograph the victim while she was nude, according to court records.

If investigators find those illegal images on the phone or computer, more criminal charges are possible, Ada County Deputy Prosecutor Shelley Armstrong said Thursday.

The charge of lewd conduct is punishable by up to life in prison.

A preliminary hearing on the charges will be scheduled for later this month.
