Deer's antlers fall off every year, usually late February/early March then are regrown in the summertime for rut in November. I would guess this guy has some land with a decent deer population and has collected them. Considering the photo he might even raise deer.



There are guys who use dogs to hunt for just the cast off deer antlers. Its sort of like trophy hunting. Some guys will then use their collection to make hillbilly sculptures and furniture.
