@Floofin: I am pretty sure Digital Underground's main guy Shock G (the guy who plays Humpty) is still active in music.

I think this can be blamed on "The Humpty Dance". Like they were expected to only do "novelty" type songs. If the Kingsmen showed up somewhere and didn't play "Louie Louie" nobody would stick around for their set. Same deal. They unintentionally "pigeon holed" themselves.

Anybody else see Nothing But Trouble (1991)?

I think that was Digital Underground's (and Tupac's) film debut.

I thought that movie was awesome but apparently very few people shared my feelings. It's bizarre and creepy and funny.
