I always thought it was more of a goth wuss in those SNL skit. My friend always said emo kids were just kids to pussy to be goths.

Anyways listening to Osaka Popstar; a band featuring Jerry Only from the Misfits, Dez Cadena from Black Flag, and Marky Ramone from THE greatest rock band to ever walk the face of the earth(I shouldn't have to tell you who that is).
