I did not realize that cod and mango typified Texas.

It is indeed one wide-ranging state/territory.

My lunch was a Taco Del Mar taco salad with whole pinto beans, hot sauce and pork (now, carnitas instead of pork in mole).

It seemed less substantial than those in the past as if they were using smaller ladles to scoop the ingredients and/or the hot sauce was less "hot"....
