Spent four hours in the kitchen today preparing:

Sugo semplice (basic tomato sauce)
Braised celery and tomato
Sage/parsley pesto-stuffed braciolle (rolled and tied flank steak) simmered in the above sugo semplice and an Australian syrah.
Rigatoni with vodka tomato sauce and Zenner's (http://www.zennerssausage.com) Italian sausage
Mashed potatoes with Parmesan-reggiano and prosciutto

Emptied out 5 14.5 oz cans + 2 28 oz cans of tomatoes...
