Here on my last day in Minneapolis, I went to Capital Grille and had the filet mignon as rare as possible with a side of creamed spinach. The professional and courteous wait staff thought it was a bit odd when I requested for bread not to be brought to the table, but I'm super sweet and tip well in restaurants to make up for my eating eccentricities. Capital Grille was recommended to me by some nice locals when I asked for a fairly upscale steakhouse that's not a chain. People really dress up here at nice establishments unlike LA where you can dine in a dirty hooded sweatshirt as long as you have money. I felt that I stuck out a bit eating by myself in True Religion jeans and a cashmere sweater, surfing the web on my Sidekick in between small bites. Wonderful is all I have to say about this place.
