yumi is one of my faves as well and this is from another site.... Sad News...

Quoted from this thread http://www.raincoatreviews.com/forums/showthread.php?t=3046&page=4

About twenty minutes later, Yumi calls me again, and wants me to repeat everything we talked about earlier today. Her tone is a little nicer, as she is trying to get me to do something. I said "Why Yumi? I already said it all before. You heard me the first time." Yumi said, "Oh I didn't understand any of it. Tell it all to me again." I told Yumi to stop acting as if I was stupid -- it was obvious someone else was there listening to me. I said, "Who is it, your pimp? Put him on and have him to talk to me directly."

At first Yumi denied anyone else was there, but a couple of minutes later she changes her story and puts her "friend" on. Her friend stated that he runs some business that offers escort services. According to this person, he posts ads for many girls on Craig's List as a service and charges them $60 a week or something. I imagine this is because some of the girls don't have computers or are too lazy to do it themselves. Yumi's friend denied he was a pimp and said Yumi told him she is working for herself and off drugs. "Friend" said he refuses to work with girls who are addicted to drugs. For what it's worth, "Friend" was pleasant to talk to and seemed more on top of things than Yumi.

I said, "OK dude ... if Yumi's story is true, then why did someone threaten a member of my website for posting a negative experience with her? Who else would be interested in it besides Yumi and her pimp?" Friend admitted it was strange and really only a pimp would care since it would affect how much money he would earn from the girl. "Friend" turned to Yumi and asked if she still had a pimp and Yumi again said "No". He asked her again and said, "Are you giving your money to him?" And she denied it.

At this point, "Friend" volunteers the following information. Friend stated that Yumi became a crystal meth addict and that she was involved with a pimp just as we suspected until two months ago. "Friend" then states, "This was back when she was kidnapped and taken to Denver recently." "Friend" stated that her pimp was forcing her to have sex and taking the money. "Friend" stated that one of the reasons Yumi needs money now is to save up for "laser surgery" because her face is messed up now from acne caused by her meth addiction. At one time Yumi had very nice skin.

I asked "Friend" to consider her statements about not using Meth anymore. I told him that I had encountered many meth-heads and in my experience it was not easy to break the addiction. Of course Yumi has not checked into a detox center or received any other drug addiction treatment or counseling. I asked "Friend", "Do you really think Yumi no longer uses crystal meth?" "Friend" admitted it seemed doubtful she could kick the habit as she claimed. He asked her if she was using, and predictable Yumi denied it. I said, "Why do you think she needs all this money?" "Friend" said, "I hope she is not spending it on drugs or giving it to that guy."

At this point, "Friend" told me about his plan for escorts on Craig's. Basically he recommends they earn about $4000 a week, which at $200 a pop would be 20 "clients" a week, or 80 each month. Then he advises them to save half of it. In two or three years of continuous whoring, he stated they should have enough money to buy a home. He said he always advises them to buy a home instead of a business because "everyone needs a roof over their head" and "90% of start up businesses fail in the first year." "Friend" said that many of the girls want to start a beauty salon or something similar and he discourages that. Of course, even if a girl did that, she would be serving several thousand johns. I'm not sure having a big pile of cash in front of you is worth much if you contract HIV and lots of other nasty STDs.

"Friend" agreed wholeheartedly if someone was making threats, they should be reported to the police. Then he gave the telephone back to Yumi.

Yumi asked me several times what I wanted, and I told her I didn't want anything. I reminded her that she called me. She said, "You called me on Sunday and today." I said yes, I called on Sunday because we were concerned about you and I called today because of the threats. She said, "well what do you want?" Again, I told her I didn't want anything but that the threats better stop. Yumi seemed confused. At that point, we said goodbye and ended the conversation.
