emo core ain't punk just like nin ain't industrial. Neubauten was industrial, but not anymore they're just a bunch of old sods who can't hang it up.

NIN was always far from industrial. and Neubauten's new stuff is very worn down, much like the last Front 242 album (which i owned long enough to listen to once and take back to the store) however.... Nitzer Ebb lives on well in Fixmer / McCarthy. The punk scene like the hippies were truly confined to an era and than after the era were over run by a pop version of itself. I think the Goth/Industrial/EBM scene, being more of a anachronistic and futurist scene has survived more depsite attempts to make it pop because it doesnt exist in an era, it exists in a bubble. and luckly the pop versions have been bounced off the bubble rather well.

on a side note... my tattoo was done by a former member of Killing Joke.
