Gotta disagree with you on that one. They may have some disease immunities compared to poorly bred purebreds, but they are more prone to poor personalities. Speaking from experience and from friendships with highly regarded professional trainers, only Labrador Retrievers and Beagles don't have aggressive personality tendencies. I'm sure there are exceptions and in fact I've owned exceptions but overall it's true. Well bred purebreds are not any more prone to any type of disease but you have to do the research into their bloodlines and select a good breeder- you can't buy a puppy from a Petsmart.

That said, both sets of those puppies look great and I'd take a mutt from a home and dame I knew something about before I'd take a purebred from a puppy mill.

My yellow lab is gelling into a fine retriever and a great companion. I can't wait for bird season.
