Heather Gables, Gia Paloma, Katrina Kraven, and Sophia, have all agreed to do it, just a matter of scheduling. Julie Night is scheduled this week. I need two additional scenes if all those pan out. I will update here as the info comes in.
To those who don't know. I picked up this line, it is no longer Brandon, I hope to make it as good or better than the original. Brandon did a great job, and is definately a tough act to follow.

UPDATE:
Sadly, we will not have Gia Paloma, but we have scheduled Taylor Rain. Still need a couple more faces to paint!
I certainly hope there will be many more slap happy movies.
As it was stated above, I guess it will be decided on how well it is recieved.

UPDATE:
So far we have shot Gen Padova, Tyla Wynn, Shilo, and we managed after all to get Gia Paloma. As of now it looks like the remaining chokers will be Julie Night, Genesis Skye, Melissa Lauren, and either Taylor Rain or Katrina Kraven...schedules permitting.

I will be very curious as to this title. I just hope the whole fake gagging mimicry some of the performers use now in the gag factor series is left on the cutting room floor. The Slap Happy series was in a class to itself, and yes some of the women were pretty scary, but the driving force was BI.

As I stated in an earlier post, Brandon is a tough act to follow, but I think we came up with an excellent cast, which helped to produce an end result that is true to the "Slap Happy" and "EXTREME" names.

Extreme Associates dvd's are all DVD-R's now. I'll never pay for a DVD-R, ever. Shit, I might as well just download the fuckin' thing off the net and burn my own copy. You can't take a porn company seriously that uses DVD-R's, that's the sign of a company that will do anything to cut corners and save money. They want customers to pay full price for DVD-R's, fuck that. The online store I buy from was pretty pissed off when I asked them to check the disc to see if it was factory produced or not, they said it was a DVD-R and that they won't be stocking Extreme discs as long as they are using DVD-R's.
I don't care what kind of legal shit they are going through. If they expect people to knowingly pay for DVD-R's they've lost their minds.
It's too bad, because thet have some great older flicks that I would like to get on DVD, but the whole DVD-R bullshit rubs me the wrong way.

A "factory-produced" DVD is pressed much the same way vinyl records were (and CDs are). It's very fast & cheap in volume, and every copy is nearly as good in playback quality as the original (which is usually, but not always, good).
Recordable DVDs are like regular DVDs except that only blank "channels" or grooves are pressed into the disc. A layer of organic dye is placed over this. During recording the DVD burner follows the grooves and burns the pattern of dots into the dye. A DVD player can later read the recorded DVD's dye layer just like it reads the "pits" and "lands" of a pressed DVD.
With a recordable DVD you're dependent on the quality not only of the pressed part of the DVD (grooves) but also the burner is making a quality pattern in the right places.
A recordable DVD costs a lot more to make & burn. Extreme isn't saving any money this way at all. It means their volume is very low or they can't afford the NRE up-front fees to make a pressed DVD. Pressed DVDs may require a couple thousand dollars NRE but cost much less to make per disc.
Quality problems would show up as macroblocks, freezes and other problems in playback. Also it's relatively cheap to do DVD-9 on pressed DVDs to get twice the data capacity and hence higher quality MPEG compression or more extras that can be had on a recordable DVD, which only has as much space as a DVD-5.
A pressed DVD has a layer of aluminum to reflect the laser but is otherwise transparent and so appears silver. The dye layer in a recordable disc has some color and is often bluish or green.
Some recordable CDs are almost silver and some red or even completely black. I don't know if this can be done with recordable DVDs.
PS. There are dual-layer recordable DVDs now which I'm not familiar with. They're similar in storage to a DVD-9 and much more expensive than an ordinary recordable DVD.

the old batches were dvd r (the re releases) but now they are all dvd 9 we use sin city so any new dvd s are fine.

There was a time in which EXTREME bought a machine to reproduce DVDs. They quickly realized that the machine did not do what the seller had promised and it was returned. All titles are reproduced on DVD 9s not DVD-R. It's not a case of someone trying to rip someone off...it's a case of a person trying to increase profitability. Business. It didn't work out. It's over.
Slap Happy 6 is done and comes out in 2 days. I thought we would have a trailer up...but our site is experiencing technical problems...We hope to have a trailer up on Monday.
