I think he'll let them run wild with their crazy domestic policies (abortion, gays) so that may tide some of them over. Can't see them agreeing to shitcanning free trade or bending over for the Russians but you never can underestimate their willingness to betray a principle for self-gain.

The fact is, Hillary Clinton was a lousy candidate. donny Trump wasn't much better and a really strong Republican candidate would've won in a landslide. The country is more middle-of-the-road or even a tiny bit conservative and the media and the Democrat party need to stop trying to pretend we're on the verge of happily adopting Socialism.

Course the Dems have used gerrymandering to guarantee their seats as well. Clinton was terrible no doubt, I said that from the start. As for the politics of the country seems pretty clear that it is 50/50. Americans love socialism, the US army is the biggest socialist organization in the world.

If the Dems ran Biden or Cuomo, they would still have the White House. The vote yesterday was as much anti-Hillary as it was pro-Trump.

I enjoy the fact that this is the second time Hillary thought she was on a coronation tour, only to get embarrassed. Only GOP candidate she could have beaten was Cruz.

Actually I think Cruz would have been the only other Republican nominee who might have beaten Clinton. None of the establishment Republicans would have beat her. They all would have ran the same establishment campaign every post-Reagan Republican has run and they would have had the same results in Wisconsin, Michigan, and Pennsylvania as every other Republican establishment campaign has had since 1988.

If you look at the results in the swing states, the difference this year was with the Independents, which seem to make up around 20% of the voters. The rest is split almost 50/50 between the Democrats/Republicans with maybe a point or two advantage for the Democrats in some states. 90% of Dems/Repubs voted for their respective candidates in every state, with Independents breaking for Trump by 8-10% over Clinton in the states where Trump won.

The remarkable thing is that Trump got something like 35% of the hispanic vote, pretty much the same as or better than Romney did in 2012. I also enjoy that the working class now identifies itself more with Trump than it does with Bruce Springsteen.

Hispanics with money and female Hispanics who just hate Hillary that much. Trump's sexism and posturing is familiar to Latinas, it's not a deal breaker. Know-it-all bitches is a bigger trigger.

And no one seems to have learned anything from this election. The left is doubling down on hate and divisiveness and their response seems to be, "OK whitey, you won this one, but you're all a bunch of dumb racists who couldn't handle a skinny black man being President and someday we'll outnumber you and we can't wait to rub your noses in it. Nyah! Nyah! Nyah!"

And could you be more of a sore loser than to protest the very next day after a fairly won, uncontested election? You had your chance to express yourself literally just the day before.

^ If one thing is clear, we need to rework our entire election process, especially with regard to how our candidates are selected and who chooses them. As well as how the media gets to (attempt to) shape the outcome of the general election. For example, I bet you that there's a very low likelihood that next time around D. Trump will be participating in a Presidential debate on CNN moderated by Anderson Cooper and Martha Raddatz.

Loved the "spontaneous, unorganized, uncoordinated" protest in Chicago where 90% of the protesters had the exact same professionally printed sign.

Also loved the moron protester on CNN who claimed that Hillary should just walk into the Supreme Court and sue the United States. As if the Supreme Court was some kind of legal system version of Starbucks where you just walked in and ordered a lawsuit to go. And these exact same people have the balls to claim that Trump supporters are stupid.

I broke out laughing just now when the news came on the radio and they played some audio from one of the protests. "Hey hey! Ho ho! donny Trump has got to go!" The same tired, overused protest chant that liberals have been using my entire life. Lol.

Well, we were literally just discussing Martha Raddatz and CNN two posts back if you forgot. CNN is almost as bad as MSNBC. Then you have the 3 major networks, PBS and almost every newspaper nationwide and their respective websites. Locally, we have just 2 newspapers, the real newspaper that you can get delivered to your house is extremely liberal and the free, hippie newspaper that you can grab at coffee shops is even more liberal. Something like 96% of campaign donations from the media went to Hillary Clinton.

I was watching Josh Earnest's daily press briefing earlier and while he referred to Obama and Trump as "President Obama" and "President-elect Trump," most members of the press couldn't seem to call Trump that. I think I only heard them call him President-elect one time. In most questions, he was referred to by his full name and then there was one asshat who kept calling him just, "Trump."

ESPN and ABC are both owned by Disney so the left slant is not something to be surprised about.
