So, without discussing "extreme porn" in general (there's a recent thread for that), how do forum members here feel about this image?



It's currently on the frontpage of brazzersnetwork.com.
(First off to clarify in case everyone doesn't see it the same way I do: to me the sum of the parts, the whole thing, looks clearly as if to resemble and evoke typical images of someone holding a severed head with a knife being held below it. The empty, slightly off center gaze, the open mouth with just a bit of saliva dripping/ not the usual cum drooling here, and the entire arrangement of hands, head, dick. To further isolate, it's clearly not suggestive of choking. It's just about "presenting" a head and making a neck-cutting gesture. The only detail deviating from that is the grip at the dick is supinated whereas a knife would more likely be held pronated, but whatever.
And no, I'm not overly influenced by beheading videos or snuff in general, I've only ever watched three of those and the last one was a year ago.)

Now, there are other images at the Brazzers frontpage that hint at the movies being relatively violent (not just "rough"), but personally I don't mind most of that stuff (I neither enjoy it, I just don't care for it. I think most of it is silly, but I get what's the appeal of it, and I know Brazzers' style. At least I thought I did). But this one personally I feel crosses a line.
It's incredibly bad taste, even in porn, and it doesn't feel sexual in the least to me (while I deinitely enjoy rough sex myself), and I even feel it's irresponsible towards the other performers displayed on the site.

So, when did visually suggesting a beheading - in vivid IS fashion - in a sexual context become acceptable for what is still a mainstream porn brand?

I wonder, does their marketing or creative dept. feel they should cater to djihadists (many of whom I'm sure watch a LOT of porn secretly) and/ or to people that have become jaded by watching too many djihadist videos?


Comparing this to other grey areas in porn trends, a few years ago when ads for animated fantasy beast porn started showing up on Youporn, or animation suggesting underage girls, I thought it was silly but I also realized this kind of stuff might serve a purpose (as in a valve/ an alternative to using actual ch*ld porn or animal porn for some of those so inclined). I also don't mind stuff like gagging/ vomiting porn as long as the video doesn't seriously try to simulate that anyone is involved against their will (I'm supportive of performers like Mika Tan who lobby against stuff that does).
But this image just worries me. Just worrying, no disgust or shock.
I've seen much worse images of actual violence obviously, and I don't shy away from controversy usually.

But just, what the fuck??

Why?

What for? (Money, I know, but how far do you wanna go?)

And what do other porn consumers think about it?

Regardless of how much/ how often you watch, how jaded you are (or think you are), or what your preferences are.

I registered here only to ask this, and the forum subtitle and a quick topic overview makes me confident that I'm not just preaching to the choir/ getting easy approval for my own irritation, so fire away.


P.S. Anyone here remember Stileproject.com in the early 2000s? That guy who posted porn and snuff videos alternatingly to "gross people out"? None of that I found as dubious as this. Because there wasn't a huge industry behind it, with lots of different people involved in various kinds of contracts. Personally if I was a performer, even a cynical one, I wouldn't want my image being used on the same page as this one.

Only three? Wow. I admire your restraint and overtures to common decency. In my opinion you've got this completely backwards. And the most disturbing thing in all this is you equate, whether you intend to or not, Islam radical beheading videos with pornography, which in a sense it is, but you appear to place them in the same cinematic genre, like you're browsing through Netflix. I think it is a deeply immoral act to watch them, just as I think news outlets playing horrific 911 calls are slime. This is nothing new, of course, but in this case I find it absurd you feel that basically a staged Mapplethorpe tableaux is the point at which pornography crosses the line when it has for decades been trading in the actual on camera humiliation and pushing over the line of often younf women who haven't quite thought it through. This photo represents a collabiration among all involved.

windsock nailed it I think. Only three beheading/snuff videos? Funny that I somehow got through my whole adult life without watching anything like that, or bestiality, scat, etc. And I've explored the furthest reaches of 70s porn, some of which deals with some real fucked up stuff that you would never see in today's porn. I've simply never clicked on the button if I knew that was what I was going to see.

You got all that shit from looking at a porn pic. Do you see dead people too? A racist behind every newspaper?

Yeah, severed heads are nothing new in American pop culture. How do you know that this wasn't a homage to EC comic books of the 1950s? Or Breaking Bad? Maybe they are trying to appeal to Mexican drug traffickers? This can be read in multiple ways, or maybe there is nothing to be read. But if you're going to explore one reading, why not push it further?

I think this is just a whimsical photo, I don't think this needs to bring out the social justice warriors.

Unless the entire shoot involves "actors" dressed in orange jumpsuits, large swords, ugly knives, balaclava masks, black flags, etc, and a lot of screaming, it's probably nothing.
