The Ben Show this week had a great Hooker bit with porn girl Hailey Holiday. It also had another episode of "Todd Bridges Animated Crack Stories" which is the funniest thing on TV right now. If you go to Comedy Central you can watch the animated clips for free. They're about 2 mins each.

We caught the first two eps of the Following and I wasn't all that thrilled. But we sat and watched maybe 6 of them last weekend. Hooked. Bacon is fantastic. It's very 24, in that everyone is suspect and no one seems to be immune from death. I have a couple of minor issues. I think an elegant serial killer needs a name with more panache than "Joe". The Poe thing got old fast, but that's sort of in the background now.
I think I may give the Amerikans and Revolution another shot.

A day in late in my reply but the final round of the Masters. Can't blame Cabrera for going for the green on 13 at the time but if he was going to miss that shot he had to miss it long and left, not short and right. Pure brass second shot on 18 by him though. Playoff could have gone either way though I am surprised that Adam Scott won this by making two clutch putts when he couldn't putt the ball in a manhole on the rest of the course yesterday. I watched about 8 episodes of Vice online and thought it was great. It's an HBO series, but is pretty easy to find online.

Anybody see the Arrested Development? My expectations were pretty low, but i think it was pretty good. A bit more slapstick than I was hoping, but I've gotten good giggles from the 5 eps I've watched so far.

Basically invented heavy metal, supergroups and discovered the African sound in Nigeria in the 1970s when that was an incredibly dangerous place to be, way before Paul Simon, David Bryne, etc. Pissed away his money every time he got it (he had an addiction to raising Polo ponies) and was an on and off smack head for decades.
I did not realize he had a very intense love/hate relationship with Jack Bruce. Eric Clapton was caught in the middle and got sick of it. Both Clapton and Bruce are in the film. None of his groups lasted more than one or two years. I believe Blind Faith (also with Clapton after Cream) had only one studio album.
It is full of pretty big name people. He influenced Neil Pert, Lars Ulrich, the dude from the Red Hot Chili Peppers.

House of Cards. It is very well done. I am finishing up episode 10 right now. If you like good drama, this is worth the watch. It really kicks in around the third or fourth episode.
