@renfield I'm too weirdly emotional about dogs to foster. I write checks and donate food. It's honestly the best I can do, besides my rescue dog. It kills me what people to them, especially the "fighting" breeds. Nothing rips my emotions up more than some saggy pants wearing piece of shit with a pit puppy on 25lbs of chain. When I was a kid, we took our dog everywhere. He never spent a weekend in a kennel because we were going out of town. I remember my dad telling a friend of his that the friend and his wife would have to find another ride to a Lions Club convention in Canada. The friend didn't like dogs, and my dad told him the dog was going and that's just the way it was.

The dog died when I was 13. 35 years and I remember it like it was yesterday.
