American researchers say throat cancer caused by HPV (generally transmitted to throats during oral sex) has "increased significantly" over the last 20 years.
Researchers tested tumor samples from 271 patients with certain types of throat cancer diagnosed from 1984 to 2004. The virus was found in only 16 percent of the samples from the 1980s—but in 72 percent of those collected after 2000.
The researchers estimated that over all, throat cancers caused by the virus have increased to 2.6 per 100,000 people in 2004 from 0.8 cases per 100,000 people in 1988. If the trend continues, by 2020 the virus will be causing more throat cancer than cervical cancer, the study concluded.
Unlike cervical cancer, "oropharyngeal cancers" have no screening equivalent to the pap smear. So if you suck a lot of dick or twat, either get vaccinated or spend the rest of your life worrying that every "lumpy, swollen lymph node" and "lingering sore throat or earache" might be blowjob cancer.

Germaine to the OP- don't suck a dick with HPV/warts and don't worry about cancer. Simple as that.
And to Jerkules...did you by chance ever read the Penthouse Forum letter from the mid/late 80's about the girl who removed her glass eye and gave the guy head with her eye-socket? I hate myself for repeating it but it scarred me terribly and I know it had to have damaged anyone else who read it.

Nah, I've only perused a couple of Penthouses over the years. I was more of a Hustler, Cheri, High Society guy until the the explosion of barely legals started, Hawk, Lollipop Girls, etc.

We can blame some cancer on Brandon now.
I'm sure he will be responsible for many cases of cervix cancer and now we can blame him for just as many or more cases of oral cancer. Hopefully the industry will require screening for HPV in the future and keep the filthy disease spreading mopes out.

I started sneaking Huslter mags out from between matresses, under couch cushions and out from the drawer in the basement toolbox before I even hit kindergarten so I could look at the pictures. My favorite huslter comic when I just started to read in elementary school was "Chester the Molester". What the fuck did I know at the time I was 7 years old. I tried to read alot harder with those magazines than I did with school books. I remember making up word lists out of Hustler that I didn't know and then looking them up in the school library's unabridged dictionary, the bad part was that alot of times I couldn't find definitions and I was too scared to ask a teacher or librarian. I saw a news article the other day saying that blowjobs cure morning sickness in pregnant women. Something about how morning sickness is actually the woman's body responding to having foreign sperm in her. By giving blowjobs and swallowing the jizz, they're able to acclimate their body to that particular guy's sperm.
