If it were easy to do the big, meaningful things we believe will make our country better -- if it were quick -- someone would have done those things long before any of us showed up.

We've chosen to do something hard.

You know that our victories so far have been hard won: taking the difficult steps necessary to put our economy back on track, reforming Wall Street excess despite an army of lobbyists against us, and making health care more affordable and accessible despite well-organized opposition by those who profit from the status quo.

You also know we have not yet done everything we set out to do -- not nearly.

But that's a reason to work harder, not to let up. That's why we're building this campaign now. And you have to take ownership of it.

We've had the chance to make historic changes that touch every American: from passing a law that says women should get an equal day's pay for an equal day's work to removing 100,000 troops from Iraq.

Those things and every other important change we've made happened because people built an organization to win an election in 2008.

The stakes are even higher this time.

As I've spoken with supporters who are helping get this campaign started, I've met folks who are frustrated by the pace of change.

I understand that. But we knew this wouldn't be easy. The kind of change we're working for never comes easily.

Both were big fucking mistakes.

I thought from the day he got the Dem nod that he would be only one term. Elephants got NO ONE though. Caribou Barbie? Mr. Magic Underpants? Trump? Tea Party kook broad from MN? Ron Paul delegates were edited out of the roll call at the Repub Convention last time, he aint gonna get a wiff of the nod.

Republicans need this election too. The cycle of the economy should be on the up tick last 2 years of the next term. If O-bammy takes 2012, then Biden might waltz into the next election, if he can keep his yap shut. Or Barry O could groom someone else by plopping them in as Sec of State when Hillary waddles off into the sunset.

Look at this list, anyone stand out to you?

Of course, the inauguration isn't until January 2013, so the world will have already ended. I wish it was scheduled for earlier in December, so I can use my money for booze and whores instead of Christmas presents. I may just give out presents at Thanksgiving that year. Everyone's getting canned food and ammo. As for me, I'll be stocking up on coke and smack. Precious metals are too high to invest in now. Pussy is a perishable item, can't stack whores in the closet for a year and a half and expect them to hold their value. Besides, in the lawless wasteland that awaits, nobody is going to pay for pussy. Robbery will be the only crime more prevalent than rape, which will be followed by kidnapping for profit.

So really whoever wins just gets the right to fly around on Air Force One and watch Rome burn. Hopefully the plane is stocked with children's books, so they can stick with protocol.
