Paul Snider was the suitcase pimp's suitcase pimp. He practically invented the game. He discovered his whore (Dorothy Stratton) working at a Dairy Queen when she was in high school. He broke down all of her moral boundries and brought her to the attention of the top mainstream smut peddlers of the day. He launched her to the brink of mainstream stardom. And when she tried to ditch him for director Peter Bogdanovich, he reminded all whores everywhere that sometimes love is forever. The only way she was getting out of that relationship was in a body bag. He had sex with her one last time and blew her head off with a shotgun, but not necessarily in that order. All of this, plus the fact that he had two movies made about his life, makes him the Michael Jordan and Vince Lombardi of suitcase pimps all rolled up into one.
In Paul's memory, please use this thread to discuss the most noteworthy suitcase pimps of yesterday and today. Does anyone see an s.p. in the current crop who has Snider potential?
He even dressed like a real pimp. He personified 70s oily.

I believe you're thinking of the tv movie Death Of A Centerfold: The Dorothy Stratten Story starring Jaime Lee Curtis. The other movie was a theatrical release starring Mariel Hemingway.
Not to derail...but Mariel Hemingway performance in 82's Personal Best......very yummy....
