Just kidding, I don't know if they're affiliated with eachother, but check out this douchebag. I was just flipping through the channels and came across his anti-porn infomercial, so I checked out his website. Well, Conq, if you count they way they do, probably is. These people always have a broad definition of porn.
A video rental store that happens to have an adult room with hardcore porn in it is most likely counted as an adult bookstore. A liquor store that carries adult magazine is most likely counted as an adult bookstore. A Borders store that happens to carry Playboy, Penthouse, and some soft-core, late night Cinemax style movie is most likely counted as an adult bookstore. A public library that has a illustrated book on sex.... you get the idea.

Seriously though, are there shops in places in the US (I lived in PA for years) that sell booze and porn? They just need guns and cigarettes. And used cars...
EDIT: I managed stock at a downtown Toronto porn store for a while and, holy fuck, we would have done a killing if we could have sold booze... That is a brilliant idea.

One liquor store in my small town has a small rack with Playboy, Penthouse, Club, Hustler, Fox, Playgirl and a couple of others. Some distant cousin in MO owns(or owned, haven't been that way in a while) a small liquor store that sold a couple of magazines and had 3 or 4 crappy porn video tapes for rent.
Nothing big, but in my small town that has no adult store(unless you count the Movie Gallery that has a back room), I'm sure the magazines sell pretty good. I'd imagine in a bigger city that has adult stores, they probably wouldn't sell enough to even bother.

I'm just thinking though that the combination of booze and porn must end up moving more of each item that would be sold in say, a gas station that has a small mag rack or a liquor store that just sells booze.
Together booze and porn would generate heaps of dough, especially if your porn and booze shop had jerk-off booths ("private theaters"). My old store would have done mind boggling amounts of business if we could have sold a 24oz. can of Bud along with an hour of booth time...
I realize this doesn't really apply to a small town like you mentioned. I was just expanding on the idea.

Throw in some illegal gambling machines too, while your at it. The local liquor store, bars, and crappy convenience store make a killing off those(that's how the conv. store stays in business from what I hear). Suppose to be a secret, but everybody knows they are there.

Some of the bars near me have those machines. Here they are VLT machines, I assume Video Lottery Terminals.
They seem sketchy as hell, whenever I have seen anyone emptying the cash from the till at the one at my closest bar it is seriously a Mafioso looking guy driving a Ferrari. Those things must have the worst odds but saps still sink their welfare into them. Not joking I watched a guy spend about $500.00 on one machine and lose it all, then he celebrated like he won the ultimate jackpot when he got $120.00.
Another bad addiction it would seem.
I would feel much better about selling booze and porn, those are vices that are close to my heart. I never gamble. At least not in that respect. Playing the lottery in Ontario has abysmal odds.
You would be better off going to every park in the city with a metal detector and digging for treasure.

Chicago has the Admiralty Theater, a stripclub, bar, and jackbooth place.
Most bodegas and liquor stores in CA sell penthouse style mags and many of the smaller markets have the hardcore mag shrink wrapped 3- packs.
Nashville used to have a pornostore that sold pussy! First Amendment books in Nashville was busted a few years ago for secretly taping hookers and johns doing it in their video peep booths. They would then sell the footage as amatuer porn tapes.
Germany and Netherlands have porno bars. Full service bars with porn on the TVs and sex themes. Sexkino Bar.

Rod Parsley is a fucking lunatic. He has an associate up in Toledo, Ohio named Michael Pitts (who almost looks like his clone) who runs a church called Cornerstone. In the 90's Pitts was charged multiple times with exposing himself to strangers on various Ohio highways, but they were never able to make the charges stick Parsley was all over that, as Satan's way of trying to bring down a good man. I worked in a PA bottle shop. The PLCB are relentless about performing ID checks. They will send pretty much any age person into the store to see if the employees will card them.
The prices were less than Ontario prices so I don't really notice them being an issue, but compared to Ohio they are insanely high.
I fail to see the point because it doesn't actually address the "problem" of underage drinking.
