Without conceding all of your points, there are cultural differences between races. Stereotypes exist for a reason- they are not invented from whole cloth. Thousands of years of genetic specialization and adaptation have preceded where we are today, thrown into a mixed jumble where everyone expects equality as a birthright. Well, we should judge each individual we meet on their own merits. There is no reason for hatred but failing to acknowledge differences among people and cultures is just as ignorant. I think the story of the Tower of Babel illustrates the folly of thinking we are all the same, and why we are different.

Is what's called racism these days not pointing out differences between races? Or, as you prefer, "celebrating diversity"? You can't celebrate for the good without pointing out the deficiencies as well. To do so would be revisionist.
Black men, as a race and for the most part like big butts, they cannot lie. Is saying that racist?

Right, and as a white guy, I'll put anything on my feet, I had all kinds of breaks growing up in a white as Wonder Bread community, and I would never put 22 inch aluminum rims on a 4X4. And, I was not surprised when I learned my Chinese customer has 7 cameras. But there is a big difference between those statements and the language used in other parts of this thread.
There is a disparity in the number of young black men going to prison, compared to the rest of the population. That is something we need to address as best we can, like Cosby and Obama stressing fatherhood on Father's Day. Like continuing to strive to provide good education to urban youth, and offer role models and decent jobs. And providing education and prevention of single pregnancies. It's not something to use like a club, to insinuate that an entire race of people are inherently inferior.
There is also a difference between an honest dialog, and an attempt to wiggle subtle racism into a conversation. I won't draw a bright line for you, I leave it up to your own conscience.
I watched with home state pride yesterday as the Cincinnati Reds hosted the first Civil Rights game played as a regular season contest. That is a celebration going back to the Underground Railroad safe houses along the river, to Jackie Robinson, to the 1964 uniforms to celebrate the signing of the Civil Rights Act. But there is still much to be done, that was the theme most of the dignitaries seemed to stress in interviews.
I want to be part of the solution, not the problem.

The problem is, many people on this board are still young and impressionable. Threads like this one are teaching them to hate.

Actually, this is completely untrue. Tolerance is taught. Prejudice is inherent in our nature. There were several landmark studies done in the post WWII era that were replicated (and documented on film) in the 1960's. Children are very sensitive to taking direction from adults about which groups to dislike BUT even if those cues are absent from adults, they will discriminate on their own. In one legendary child psychology experiment, it was impossible to eliminate discrimination no matter how homogeneous the groups were. The children would pick up on obvious things first (hair color, sex, etc) then when all of these things were controlled for and all of the children were the same age, race, hair color, sex, etc., they began to discriminate based on more subtle things like weight, or clothing. Yes there are common, frequent examples of very different children who accept one another, but I don't feel like writing a textbook, so I'll skip why that happens (i.e. what other interpersonal cues supersede race or sex).
Racism is wrong on philosophical, moral, and ethical grounds--NOT because it isn't inherent in our nature. It is a lot like learning to use a toilet. A child that is too young does not have an advanced enough nervous system to control their bowels, so they cannot be toilet trained until a certain age. A child must have BOTH the physical capacity (maturity) and the training to stop shitting in their pants. Racism is a lot like shitting in your pants. A person needs to have the intellectual capacity and the training (even if it is very subtle training) to understand and internalize that racism is wrong and why.

Kendra Wilkinson and Hank Baskett have tied the knot.
The former 'Girls Next Door' star married the Phildelphia Eagles wide receiver at a ceremony where she used to live -- the Playboy Mansion .
Wilkinson walked down the aisle wearing more $100,000 worth of jewelry. The 300 guests included Playboy founder and Kendra's ex-boyfriend Hugh Hefner, as well as Bridget Marquardt and Holly Madison, who were in the bridal party.
"She was beaming," an eyewitness said.
Hefner, who allowed his home to host the wedding, told E! what he thought about the ceremony. "I could not be more delighted. This is one of the happiest days in one of the happiest places on earth," he said.
Madison talked of her former co-star and roommate as well. "She looked like a princess," Holly told PEOPLE.
Of the wedding dress, Holly continued, "It was a princess dress, which was fitting. It was really pretty and she looked gorgeous."
"It was a beautiful setting for a wedding," Madison added of the Playboy mansion.
At the reception, Wilkinson and Baskett danced their first dance to George Strait's 'I Cross My Heart.'

Best thread ever, thanks Coke. And to think I blew this off for a while because I didn't know what Mudshark meant. Plus I hadn't seen a decent pic of Peggy Lipton in ages.
Love the comments on the Jew infested MTV shows - believe it or not they actually had one on 16 year olds berating their parents for not blowing enough money on their birthday parties. Truly fucked up.

I don't know who shot the 20 year-old woman killed with 36 year-old ex-quarterback Steve Mcnair, but I know who's to blame. Obviously this girl was not raised properly. If her parents didn't teach her not to fuck spooks you really have to wonder if they mentioned it's not cool to fuck horses.
On the bright side, the economy may be stimulated by these events. If Mcnair's ghetto relatives get their hands on his money, you know they'll spend it all on frivolous shit within two weeks. It's called "nigger rich".

Wow , i knew about the murders , but didn't know he was hanging with some 20 year old white girl . The news said it was at some condos , so i figured Steve was "keeping it real" , and over at some low income condos with a black woman and some homie tried to rob him or a drug deal went bad .
This news of the white girl tosses a questionable bone into the story , much like the bone Steve was tossing to the very young white girl

That girl doesn't look at all white to me.  I think she's hispanic. Like Filipinos, hispanics are mutt mixes of everyone and everything. And, if she's even 1/8th Puerto Rican, her going with a black guy isn't news at all.

The Mcnair mudshark appears to be a towelhead (name Sahel Kazemi).
It's possible that this was an honor killing. If a male relative of Sahel discovered that she had been having relations with a chocolate-face, he would of had to take care of business in order to restore the family honor.
But a murder/suicide with her as the shooter is more likely. (Mcnair was shot multiple times and she was only shot once.) This makes sense because as a towelhead she must have felt especially ashamed for having become a mudshark. It probably hit her all at once ("what have I done?!").

I think the fact that the police say they aren't looking for suspects makes it a definite that it was murder/suicide.

I only did it 3 separate times in 3 separate years for 2 different profs. I thought intro Prob & Stat much more often [wrote the tests and graded the papers, too]. I taught 3rd semester calculus only once.
I had 9 college credits from SUNY in Logic and Boolean algebra before I even graduated HS, and I used to delight in constructing proofs that were lines shorter than the one's in the answer key they kept in the college library.
