I don't want to speak for Platinum X because I am not sure, but I BELIEVE that their angle is a good one. They allow their producers to dictate the work... not the studio itself. If you like a particular producer, then you are likely to like his work regardless of the girls he shoots. I agree with this. There are some girls that are great and I love to watch and work with, but there is also the angle that if I like a producer, I will like his work and have a desire to see the new girls he shoots.
It's a good idea... if it truly is their master plan.

I agree with you Smut, Brandon is the best thing on that poster and that is not saying much at all for a porno poster. Put some chicks on the promos and have the male directors and such in writing only.

I love that poster!! Doesn't PXP try to cater a little more to the female consumer.
I am female and love porn but not that couples shit. I don't purchase for the girls, I don't care who the girl is, as long as she is getting fucked by some of my favorite guys. Again..in my book, the female is an afterthought.
I purchase my porn based on the guys and only the guys who I know will deliver. So that poster I believe was designed for the customer like me. That poster makes me twice as likely to make my next porn purchas a PXP purchase.
Keep it up PXP...you got my attention.

well maybe we both just had a communication meltdown, don't know where and am not concerned enough to figure it out. Would rather make meaningful posts than sling insults back and forth. But yeah I am an excellent teacher according to all the indicators.
But here is a good idea, don't know how economically feasible it is in porn. Females watch porn and tend to go for some different criteria when selecting it. I bet studios can capture a larger share of the female market by simply having two different boxes (may even change the name)for the same product.
I am a cheerleading coach (yeah I know) and every year I get catalogs and the dance coach does too. The major companies have two different covers on each catalog (same catalog but dance stuff will be first instead of cheerleading) Their profit started increasing just by making that simple change in marketing. The company really didn't change the items in the catalog, just a different marketing stagey for both segments of the came merchandise.
Don't know if it would work in porn but have seen it work in other places. (ex. No carb Coke = Diet Coke)
