A friend gave me a screener of this. It was released in EU at the end of 09, but has yet to be widely released in the states. I'm not sure about Canada.
Much closer to the Robert E Howard books than the Conan movies. The acting was really good and so were the action sequences.

Just finished watching "Author, Author" with Pacino which I recalled from the primitive days of HBO. This version ends earlier than I recollect.

 fucking good.  fucking gay.  corny.  meh but carla guginos tits do shine in this one.towelhead sloanes in it also and elizabeth berkeley appears for less than 5 seconds.so hot but never had a chance.  started off good but then just went down to average and predictable.worth a watch though.  same as above.ali larter should cross over into porn though.she looked like she really wanted to suck that black baby arm.tritone would be proud.speaking of which..  thisll be his feel good movie when hes depressed about dick dodgers and such.he could probably get a whole 3 and a quarter to this.

DVRed "Blow". Much to my surprise a girl who looked like the late Anastasia Blue shows up in the background in a Paul Reubens scene. I checked IMDB, and it was her.  I wonder who she blew to get that cameo??  Considering the title, do you think she auditioned thinking it was a porno??

 confusing like 4 because those two dickheads look and act alike.the death machines werent very original in this one either.  this was actually suspenseful and creative but convolouted like 3 through 5.this ones worth watching.  i have a feeling sasha grey has this on blue ray.  they shouldve stopped after two.didnt even bother to see the last half hour because i was more interested in seeing saw 5.dont really care if i see the rest of it.  from what i saw of it,it was just like the previews,boring and unfunny.decided to go to sleep rather than watch the last 45 mins.

Well ... I just finished watching "Inglourious Basterds" on Showtime 2 Pacific. I haven't been so disturbed by a film in a very, very, very long time.

The only movie soundtrack I've ever felt compelled to buy is from Natural Born Killers. I listen to it often.
I've spent some time up that 666 corridor, around those people, and that may have something to do with the appreciation.

 this actually had a bunch of good laughs in it.which is more than i can say for the next movie..  fucking stupid.oh and i hated how they didnt show how it ended until the credits just like crank 2.  good and intriguing.its about the next phase of the mk ultra program.the ending leaves you wanting more but in a good way.  kind of crap but worth watching.lol fucking efren ramirez told some tmz fags he was his twin so theyd leave him alone.guess they didnt see this movie before that happened.  whoops guess im the retard.  good but ive seen it too many times.whatever happend to kari wurher?she was in sliders and this then disappered.  damn shame.

I went into Letters to Juliet as I go into all romantic comedies - hoping to fall in love. I did...with Italy and Vanessa Redgrave. What a straight up clusterfuck.

I watched "Star 80" last night. I havn't seen the movie since the late 80s on cable but I remember rubbing more than a few out to it when I was in middle school. I can't believe how tame the flick is now compared to how I viewed it when I was a kid.

Old Boy I watched Old Boy a little while ago. Its a Korean import and the version I watched was English dubbed. I liked it. If you like weird psychological mind fuck kind of flicks with some mild action and a bit of suspense I'd recommend it. The movie is the type of flick that is only good for one viewing since once you know the ending it ruins the flick for repeat viewing. Think of it like an M. Night Shyamalan movie that doesn't suck.

Flower and Snake (2004) The flick is pretty much imported Japanese Skinemax softcore porn right down to the story line of the alcoholic businessman who has to sell his wife to the Yakuza to get himself out of trouble. One thing that sets it apart though is that there are really great visual shots in this movie with Aya Sugimoto. There is rope bondage and different fetish type visual shots but with some excellent poses and nude shots. Some very good imagery if you can look past the shitty plot and story. My favorite was Aya Sugimoto with her nude body painted, being crucified and arching her back against the cross.
