Really beautiful vintage coffee table and matching end-tables. Finally got it today after seeing it like 2 years ago in an antique shop.
And skates. The guy who I ran with at night when i was training for my fight was buying a pair when i was at the mall togay. We both live off the canal and it will take us right to the gym so we are gonna skate to training together like a couple of homos....

Mr. Heater Buddy Portable heater.
Works great in the RV when temps get into the 20's. Runs about 5 hours on the low setting with 1 lb. propane bottles. Toasts the place on low when temps are in the low 30's. I may eventually plumb a 20 lb. bottle to it and run a hose from an outside compartment.
Yes, the RV has 2 kinds of heat, propane and the A/C as a heat pump. The electric operated heat pump is great when I'm not paying electric by a meter, and temps are up above about 38F. But colder than that, the propane furnace kicks in, and it is vented outside, being about 40% efficient. Burns through propane, and does use some electric to run the big fans. The portable heater is much more efficient, just crack the roof vent. Saves money and the hassle of moving the MH to refill propane.
Emo dog is afraid of the heater.

Natural gas furnace is the way to go. Town gas never goes out and if you have a back up generator that uses it too, you don' t have to worry when the electricity goes out.

I know, there's actually this room dedicated to the awful smell of the thing- if the door is left ajar for a day, especially in warm weather the entire basement and laundry room smell for weeks, open windows and those yellow industrial vornados repeatedly moved around and five bottles of febreeze literally are needed.
Retrofitting the iron radiators and the wood floor under them turned out to be about three times the downtime and cost I could have imagined, it's something to think about but the place is over a century old, you just have to deal with shit like some rooms having terrible light fixtures and one half-bathroom sink having weird hot/cold knobs. And wax floors which I've come to get a perverse satisfaction doing myself with amber Boston polish, briwax and a tiny amount of beeswax.
But shit like window sashes failing all the time, etc. Just blow

I've just taken the equivalent of "Boiler 303" at an old church building I renovated. There is an automatic water/air separator available that you can add to your system down near the boiler that burps the air out on a consistent basis. We moved a bunch of radiators around and are having a hard time getting the system bled out. It's because the existing separator has a bad diaphragm in it.

I go out of way to not be racist, but I would be hesitant to let Jews in my house. If you turn your back for a minute they can lay their eggs anywhere without being seen. If those eggs go undiscovered and hatch then you have some real problems.
