I figured this shit now, this is from the Target's "simply" line, from the same brand that advertises those annoying YouTube ads with the chick and the arrows where they claim 400+ or so "essentials products that you can't live without". They also have their (Target's) version of Irish Spring in 18-oz bottle for $2.99. I bought the Axe body wash for like $3.79 per bottle and I also had bunch of coupons for Buy One Get One Free, so it came to less than $2.00 per bottle.

in all seriousness, if any of you are serious enough to appreciate things i've already bought replacements to let me know and i'd rather send you wnat i know will collect dust like a 2011 rockshox lyrik solo air 160mm, wtb ti railled saddle, some xt drivetrain in 3x10 that's coming off now that the xtr trail's out(the ibis mojo HD has a wait list and i figured i wanted the slx crankset because it's impossible to break them and didn't want to deal with the headache of blowing up a sram xx kit and losing the formula brakes and some other stuff send me a pm and ask if i'm keeping a part or parts and if i'm not i'll let you know. it's lousy to let a thousand dollar fork sit gathering dust when someone would really like it.
off the top of my head, i've got a pair of stainless egg beaters, mallet c's, 30.9 joplin 4r w/remote seatpost and some other stuff that i'm never going to sell on craiglist but be cool and give me a reason to and it's yours.it's just wrong to waste and has no license bs like car/firearm bits make my ass liable for.

i pulled into the rink parking lot the other night and two guys were pedaling out of the woods with headlamps on. not on anything as nice as jamesns but apparently there are setups for winter riding.

you'd be suprised at how dry the south shore and cape stay all winter. the temps stay a little higher and mixed with the increased salinity snow really doesn't stick.
it takes a nominal investment in gear that keeps you from feeling like the mich.man and for someone who finds cardio in a gym or running the same as chinese water drip torture it's well worth a bit of time and money to have fun. plus, there's the undeniable factor of you're tinkering with something mechanical and improvable under the guise of
"exercise"

campy's such a cult you'd be suprised how little of a hit you took on it. same deal as a moots or pre-litespeed merlin framesets-titanium made by americans on the road side still costs over a grand.
if you wanted to pick up a mountain bike that someone else paid for to lose money on hideously fast that are going to be great bikes as long as the wheels don't appear to have seen serious abuse(means the rest of the thing has too) i'd look at ellsworth epiphanies, the carbon yeti 575's and asr5's and for something less pricey but bombproof a spec. sx trail followed by enduro and stumpy. now that it's been replaced by the camber, a spec. fsr xc is going to be 700 bucks and came out of a bike shop for triple tjat less than a year ago. tough to beat and there's a glut of them.

also, if i was looking to jump on a serious bike right now, i just caught competitivecyclist.com is blowing out 2010 yeti asr-7's in medium and xl for a grandj, buy it and build it up.2011 sram x-7 kits with an x-9 set of shifters is the same as x-9, different stickers, and on the shimano side slx=xt in the ssame manner. run 2x10 or better yet skip the front d and run 1x10 and see the mechanic less. go to jensen or whatnot, find a set of closeout easton wheels, look around for the right fork or i'll send mine(you are going to need spacers, but who cars).
for the stuff like bars, stems, seatpots, etc. get the sette line off pricepoint.com and you should be able to put together what's essentially a bike based off of their xc-racing bike geo's but with more travel than the 575. basically a 4500+ dollar bike for half that.
supposedly it runs weird so a medium's right for someone who's six one.
