I have never used that flash, so I have no idea. I had an older Canon model when I was in college and it was a pain in the ass--it was too much for me at the time I guess. But I was obviously shooting film in those days, mostly B&W, it was hard to get stuff the way I wanted it. Lots of experimenting got expensive.
I also got 550EX but it is too big and heavy especially for the camera lik G10. I also want to try out the G10 with the ST-E2 and 550EX remote setup. I think that if I will set the 550EX on a stand with a silver umbrella reflector and I think that this would make a nice portrait setup.

Tatty, we wear the same shoes. I have a gray suede pair and one in green and gray.
I love these shoes, they are comfortable and supportive but are absolute shit on any slippery surface.
My latest purchase was 6 feet of S-Video cable. I used couplers to make my cord long enough to go from the back of my computer to my TV. I guess my cord is too long because I can only get a black and white signal. Fuck.

It's as contiguous as it can be considering my use of couplers. My cord is 3 parts.
From GPU>Coupler>Television.
Could my GPU just be feeling too heavily taxed by running 3 monitors at once?
Also I have tried a bunch of different couplers and still B&W. It's entirely possible my card's S-video out has been broken from the very beginning because I have never tried it before.
I just thought there must be some kind of S-video length I was exceeding because I couldn't find cords that were over 6FT. Granted, I didn't search exhaustively.

An analog S-Video signal shouldn't have that much trouble. True there might be a limit on the card side, that might be in the specs. If just one of the five or more signals that run through the cable isn't making it through, that could cause a B&W image as well.

Check for bent pins - S-Video and VGA cables are notorious for one pin getting bent which is often the cause for the partial signal. I wouldn't be using couplers by the way- they're evil- kinda like using duct tape.

@*L*G* does the v-camera work alright?... I have been looking for something like that but Im a techidiot and I'm afraid i'll spend too much on something that isnt worth it. As for a camera, I'm still debating weather to get a point and shoot or a SLR...
