Ft. Lauderdale, Florida- Porno Steve Seidman is in town to start up a new talent agency. It's called Risque Business Modeling.
"One of the reasons we started this is because of all the shit I've been hearing about what these agents are doing to these girls," says Seidman.
"Way back when when I started Adult Stars Management it was basically to care for the girls. You'll remember when I first brought out girls to LA and how protective I was of them. I cared for the girls- the money was going to come one way or another. I wasn't worried about that.
"The idea is to take the girls to the next level and showing them the proper way of doing things," Seidman continues. "You let them know that when they go to a producer what exactly they're going to do- like when a girl doesn't do anal and all of a sudden she finds out she's doing anal. You know how often that happens.
"So we're going to prepare the girls. When a girl from my agency goes to a set, she'll have all the proper clothing, whatever the producer wants, all the proper IDs, plus I have backup copies. It's new girls breaking into the business. These are girls that haven't been shot and I'll also be taking on girls that have."
According to Seidman, there's so many Internet companies thriving in Florida that this seemed like the logical step for him to take.
"Florida is a playground for Internet companies," he notes. "There's about 60 of them shooting here. And some of the LA companies are sending people here to shoot."
Seidman goes on to crtticize some of the tactics of competing agencies in Florida.
"Some of these agencies are fucking girls royally," he states. "Horror stories like you wouldn't believe- 15 to 20%, living in a house with five people to a room; people sleeping on a floor with mattresses [the Giirlz Inc. business model].
"And then you have drug dealers in the house," Seidman notes. "People are supplying drugs to the girls in the house, and you have guys mixing with the girls in the house. It's not right and girls have a right to their privacy."
Being in the business, himself, 40 years, Seidman believes he's just the person to address corrective issues.
"Whether they listen that's another thing; and if they don't they might as well leave," he says. "I won't put up with this shit. I'm a pain in the ass that way but I'm more than fair."
According to Seidman, he's working with people to get houses set up for the talent and hopes to be up and running by March 1.
Seidman, who's getting over a bout of food poisoning from eating a tuna sandwich in Tampa, said that was the worst mistake he ever made.
"Today is the first day I've eaten something solid," he laughs. "It's been rough since I've gotten down here."
Seidman addresses his former association with John Gray and Quest Magazine.
"He has some other plans," says Seidman. "To me they weren't moving quick enough. I wish John all the best, but I just didn't have time to wait. We left as friends and on all the right terms."
