Porn stars do more than have sex on camera for a living. Many, indeed, have abilities that don’t require getting their genitals shaved. Unfortunately, they never get to share these special talents with the world – that is, until now. The Naughty American has brought together talent to talk about their off-screen talent, to make sure you’re getting … an Adult Education.

This week: Nicki Hunter on wedding planning

I consider myself a jack-of-all-trades. Whatever needs to be done, I like to do myself. Also, I have a knack of sticking people and things together – I call myself a “social cook.”

Maybe that’s why I’m good at planning weddings. I’ve planned at least three of them – basically friends of mine who needed help. I’ve also sung at weddings. That’s how I started. I used to sing things like that LeAnn Rimes song, “How Do I Live Without You,” and “Because You Loved Me” by Celine Dion.

I know some women want to plan the wedding of their dreams, but it really helps to have a wedding planner or at least someone you trust who can facilitate the help. I always tell the bride, “You’re going to have stresses, so focus on yourself, not how everyone else behaves.”

For instance, on the day of a wedding, it helps if someone else besides the bride is there to make sure the groomsmen’s ties are tied, that they’re not getting too drunk, and that the bridesmaids are behaving themselves.

But before the big day, there are lots of details to be decided months beforehand.

Step 1: Pick the wedding day and how large a fiasco you want.

This is important because it lets you know how long you have to plan, how many people you want to invite and how much money you’re going to spend.

For instance, if you want to get married on a Saturday in June, some places are booked months, if not years, in advance. If you have your heart set on a particular location during the wedding season and it’s booked on a Saturday, try scheduling it on a Friday, Sunday or mid-week instead.
