Inkyo Volt Hwang, 38, was found in his room at the Economy Inn on Monterey Road after the manager of the motel was unable to get a response from him. Hwang, who was found half-in and half-out of his bed, is believed to be a resident of Gardena, in Southern California. His death is not being considered suspicious by police. The cause of his death will not be released until the toxicology report is completed. Hwang was "implicated" in the death of his girlfriend in King City this summer, according to King City police Sgt. Steve Miller. He would not release the name of the murder victim or other information about the case because the investigation is ongoing, he said. Hwang may have been involved in making pornographic movies, according to Morgan Hill police, and likely was headed north due to the King City investigation.

*edit* ok my previous comment was little harsh.... what i intended by that was to say... At least he saved the Citizens of California some tax dollars that would be better spent fixing roads than hooking him up for an injection, not to mention the money for a trial and prison on the way.
The question lies... If he offed himself.... did he do it out of guilt... or because he didn't like his choices (face daddy or face jail.)
And yes... i for one believe he killed haley. If it comes out otherwise, then my opinion will change and i will say his loss is a sad one as well.

I had my ups and down's with Volt, he was the kind of guy you knew was going to bite you, you just never knew when it was coming, it was a matter of time. I never thought he was capable of murder and in my personel experience with him I never saw him being physically harmful to anyone, I find it hard to believe that he'd kill anyone. Especially himself. I can't in my wildest imagination picture him killing Hailey.
Volt was a drunk to be sure, a reprobate, maybe, a handfull for sure.
I'm going to miss the occasional, out of the blue, call from Volt. Despite the bad things about him I learned a lot of stuff from him and I'll always have lots of good memories associated with him. I, for one, am sorry to hear about this perplexing turn of events gone horribly wrong for obvious reasons.

Just so the record is totally straight Volt did not mentor me, it was the opposite way around, I helped a lot of the top directors in this business find thier way when they started. Not bragging just fact. Once you help a director with the fundamentals and the foundation well then they take it off in thier own direction. What I mainly learned from Volt was spontinaty and you didn't have to necessarly have a plan in every scene. Sometimes it's better that it unfold it's self.
As far as Hailey goes, she was a real sweetheart and free spirit, all the time I spent with her is a really good memory. I didn't know Hailey nearly as well as I knew Volt so I didn't feel it was my place to voice my opinion on her life style.
The whole situation is tragic if it be OD's or murder, My heart goes out to all the families and friends of both Hailey and Volt.
Sorry bout jumping on your shit, you just happened to be there. It's really not my style.

Morgan Hill - As the news of Inkyo "Wanker Wang" Volt Hwang's death and the apparent murder of his new wife permeates the dark underworld of pornographic fame in Los Angeles, members of the adult entertainment industry are questioning how and why he died in a motel in Morgan Hill.
Hwang's Sept. 29 death in the Economy Inn on Monterey Road was reported in the Oct. 2 edition of the Times, although his identity was not released by authorities at that time. He was found dead in his room at approximately 1:30pm when the manager attempted to ask him if he wanted to stay another night and received no response. Morgan Hill police officers found his body half-in and half-out of the bed. No one else was in the room or registered to the room, and police officials said his death was not considered suspicious. The cause of death won't be released until the toxicology tests are completed, which could be six to eight weeks.
When a follow-up story ran in the Times Oct. 9, identifying the body as the 38-year-old porn director and linking him to a possible homicide in King City, the adult entertainment industry woke up, speculation flying fast and furious around the community. The Times received many calls from porn directors, producers and industry talent in the days following the second story, including a call from the "Hollywood Insider" to verify the lurid details.
But even those who claimed to be close to Hwang, apparently a well-known director of XXX movies, said reports of his death were initially viewed as a kind of a publicity stunt.
"I knew he'd been out of touch for a while, but this was so unexpected," said a self-proclaimed porn actor who said he was closer to Hwang than any of the others who claimed to be his friend. "I mean, it just could have been something on this blog to spark publicity or something."
More questions revolved around the manner of Hwang's death than that of his girlfriend, Miriam "Haley" Paige, who Hwang married in Las Vegas in August, according to Clark County, Nev., records and who Hwang is suspected of killing.
Before reaching Morgan Hill, Hwang, who was then accompanied by Paige, was in King City. Police have verified that Hwang is "implicated" in her death on Aug. 21, though they will not elaborate. His death, according to King City police Sgt. Steve Miller, does not change that fact, and the investigation is ongoing.
Luke Ford, a journalist who covers porn and has published an in-depth look at the industry, said he was not at all surprised to hear of the recent events involving "Wanker Wang," as he was known to many.
"He really was a horrible person," he said in a phone call last week. "He was a man living on the edge, dangerous to himself and others."
Ford, who has a blog about the industry, said he has known Hwang for several years, observing his behavior at industry events. He has been involved in several confrontations with him.
"He was frequently drunk and belligerent," he said. "Almost anytime he would see me, he would try to grab my groin and kiss me, not in an affectionate way but in an insulting way, a degrading way, a sense of power for him."
He has often been described as a "mental masochist," according to some in the industry.
Yet others who knew Hwang described him as a genius, and said that though he was often drunk and lashing out at others, it was in a verbal way or through his blog, not physically.
Hwang was arrested in June for allegedly "pistol-whipping" Paige, but the charges were later dropped. His friends say he was simply trying to break his then-girlfriend's drug habit and get her out of "the business," and she exaggerated the situation.
Whatever happened with Paige, Hwang's self-proclaimed friends and much of the porn community seem more concerned with how he died and why he died in Morgan Hill. Though acknowledging that Paige, whom they last knew as Hwang's girlfriend, is a part of the whole mystery, the focus in the adult industry is on Hwang, his last days and why he died.
The details of his last days are not known, according to police officials, but he may have been fleeing King City because of the investigation into Paige's death. Hwang has no known connection to Morgan Hill, according to police, and may have just been traveling north to get away from King City or he may have been trying to reach a larger city, such as San Jose or San Francisco.
Speculation was rife amongst the adult industry, some theorizing that he and Paige were headed north to make a new life for themselves, away from the industry, but her death, perhaps an overdose, changed their plans.
True to the nature of the business, Hwang's colleagues refused to talk without anonymity, some preferring to use a stage name, some no name at all.

As far as Hailey goes, she was a real sweetheart and free spirit, all the time I spent with her is a really good memory. I didn't know Hailey nearly as well as I knew Volt so I didn't feel it was my place to voice my opinion on her life style.
The whole situation is tragic if it be OD's or murder, My heart goes out to all the families and friends of both Hailey and Volt.

It's probably meant for Inkyo, but, once again, they've got things backwards. I believe the term "sadist" applies better to him than "masochist." Just another pisspoor writer overly in love with alliteration.

The minion scenes were sold to someone who has yet to release them. I saw about two dozen of them being filmed and they are a goldmine. I watched Holly Wellin smack Doron with a broomstick in the kitchen one day and I could not breathe from laughing so hard. Wouldn't that be a wonderful coda for this saga if Doron became a huge Internet hit? They should start leaking teasers to shit like youtube. I know the photo of Doron with the canned corn made sites like Fark as soon as it was posted.

They are by no means mutually exclusive. The two sides often co-exist within a person, coming out a different times. Compare and contrast the need to abuse Doron with the alcoholic self destruction.
I'm no shrink, but from what I vaguely remember from college psych classes almost 20 years ago, I think the two sides grow more extreme as they war with each other, vying for dominance. Trouble of the largest kind usually ensues.
