Very informative board here!

I was just wondering where most of you producers find your talent. I'm talking amateur talent. I've had some success with Craigslist and some other free sites, but its getting very hard to get new girls - even at $1K per scene.

Not to worry - I film mainly in the Mid-West - you can imagine my difficulties. I am actually working on an internet marketing project (not a porn site) and could use some fresh talent in Michigan.

If your project is non-porn, why don't you just use a regular modeling agency.

I'm not saying its not porn - the girls would definitely be having sex, its just not marketed as porn.

Anyone have any other ideas on how to recruit amateur girls in the Mid-West? I'm in a college town if that makes it any easier.

Run an ad for figure models in the local newspaper. I've done that before with great success. When they call, explain how they can make money doing solo videos. When they get there and are being videotaped naked with their legs spread, tell them how they can make even more money. Works like a charm.

I have an Adult Entertainment lawyer and have already spoken with him about all the compliance issues - its covered.

The LAST thing you want to do outside of California is approach a bunch of co-eds on campus, in public with a proposition like this. You open yourself up to all sorts of pimping and pandering violations.

Try Craigslist in the Adult Gigs section, be discrete about it as you don't know what the reaction by your local law enforcement might be. Check out your local strip clubs and test the waters for talent; you might run into a few college girls there which automatically weeds the ones who might be interested versus the ones who would call the cops on you.

Best of luck, but be ready to deal with all the 2257 requirements (including listing a custodian or records, which if you're not willing to pay a lawyer or someone else will probably include your home address for the world to see).

Jim South (World Modeling) survived the pre net days by putting ads in every alternative newspaper across the country....and I suppose also campus publications as well. craigslist ads are good if your on a shoestring budget...since it is not a pay to post system. I would take into consideration that many non dummies would rather answer an ad on a paid board system like sexyjobs...you also don’t have to explain to girl who answer ads there that is fucking porn....and not the bait and switch scam other maybe proposing...hell dint Gia say that nobody real posts on craigslist! Like you will never find this is so and so from Vivid Video and were looking for our next contract girl right here on craigslist!

It's true, Willie. So, I had no idea the Midwest even HAD adult entertainment lawyers? Makes as much sense as putting a Christmas tree up at a Budhist temple. Doesn't that lawyer know any girls?
