DE'BELLA is definitely proving that it's never too late for a career change. But her new chosen profession is certainly not one that most grandmothers are in pursuit of: adult film actress.
Yet, at 50, that's just what this former housewife has been doing since last May -- with more than 30 movies under her belt (or lack thereof).
"I was 49 years old going on 50 and I wanted to enjoy the rest of my life and do something different," De'Bella tells our VICTORIA RECAÑO during a break from shooting.
And for De'Bella, it's all familiar territory. For four years prior to her current occupation, she handled marketing, sales and public relations for the very company she now gets in front of the camera for. She says her behind-the-scenes exposure to the industry has made her "more and more comfortable" with her new gig.
"I have a fun time doing it," she adds. "I'm not forced to do it. I'm doing it because I want to do it. It's my choice. It's my body and I have fun at it. I don't do it for the money. I do it for the fun and the excitement."
What's more, De'Bella not only has the support of her husband, who she says was "actually more for it than I was in the beginning," but mom has given her approval as well.
"She just said to have fun and to be safe," De'Bella says. "She's pretty open about it."
As for venturing into an adult arena usually populated with girls half her age, De'Bella insists it has yet to be a problem.
"I'm having more fun at 50 than I had in my 20s," she says with a smile.
