So my mom in laws house is decorated entirely in spots. Leopard spots. Everything from the curtains and the toaster to the espresso cups and the blowdryer. all the rugs, blankets, pillows, dishes, oven mitts... everything is spotted. the first few weeks i thought i was sick i was seeing so many spots. The other day my mom in law, responsible for the spots, decided to go out and get all new wrapping paper so that the presents under the tree didn't clash with the african bronze, gold, lions and leopards. Leopard bows, balls and tree skirt. A dancing Santa in a leopard suit.
Today, in rebellion, I got all my Hello Kitty keychains out of storage, my hula dancing Kitty and my yellow felt Kitty and Cherries blanket. I redecorated the tree.
The hidden camera started rolling the minute she got home.
Video will be edited and posted soon.
I've taken the liberty of pulling the spots and tiger stripes out of as much of the bathroom as I can. For now the leopard print shower curtain is still hiding the out of order tub. I'm going to fix that asap. But the rest is now a gentle shade of sage green. The bedroom is going to be purple. I'm hoping to redo the back room in like a cadet blue. Anything but fucking spots!

ok, here is round 2.
1. Is keiko dead? -
well now that is one of those interesting questions that has multiple answers. The girl who played Keiko is very much alive and laying here next to me while I type this. Keiko herself (the character) is no more... see my wife outgrew the persona of Keiko for many reasons, the first being that the name was stupid and got mangled constantly and was very odd considering that in reality she has not a lick of Japanese in her blood. and secondly because she got pigeonholed into the Alt/goth genre through no real decision of her own.. she and I were both always uncomfortable with our place in that whole world... yes, we like the music, but it is not how we choose to define ourselves... but we kept on being pushed to carry it further.
2.Will the girl formerly known as Keiko return to porn?
That is not for me to answer... but i can assure you that if/when she does she will be barely recognizable from her previous incarnation.
3. just answer me this, Did she get fake tits?
Well... she doesnt put them on the nightstand before bed., but she does have 34DD's now... but they are real... real expensive. (and really hot)
4. What about Italy?
Well.... we never really had a 100% plan to go, it was based on my citizenship status and that is up in the air for a while. Not to mention the political climate in Europe is less than favorable at the moment, we do plan on visiting Japan this year though!

Well, Gia and Gen both pretty much said it all. Gia by posting that part of my blog, and Gen by outing the fact that we have always been rather well off. Anyone who knew us well enough while we were in LA know that we always had nice apartments, HDTV's and I have to have sushi (good sushi) at least once a week or I start hurting people. We know how to save and know how to spend, not to mention that I have always had my other job outside the industry. And even when we had our drugs of choice they were cheap... and covered by insurance. I'll post more on that later.
Truth is, she didn't even think anyone read that LJ anymore and posted that for her own amusement, it was never supposed to be seen by everyone.
As you can tell though, I am not the same person that was last on this board, I am actually now sober, upbeat, positive, and the furthest thing from some alt/goth person you can get. I am also 35lbs or so thinner. In many ways it was xpt that helped push me into rehab, so I thank you guys. I look forward to not acting like a douche bag in public or on a public forum ever again.

LOL, actually there are no chemicals in me anymore.Those were what was bad... I found a solution to my pain that is dietary and has helped immensely and if it does come back completely or threaten to i am a candidate for a new surgical implant that will fix it for good.

Well, i suffer from a nasty combination of Trigeminal Neuralgia and Panic Anxiety disorder, so think about pain medication and anxiety meds... you can see why i was a little loopy, I can't take the anti seizure medications otherwise it probably would have even been worse. Anyway,after doing lengthy research on the subject post cleanup... and trying to find a way to deal with both I came across a combination of things that helped immensely. 1. was getting back to the gym and getting my body to recognize its proper functions, which was what had held my Panic Attacks at bay from 17-21 till i stopped being a gym rat and got depressed after my father died. Exercise also releases endorphins which help relieve the stress that causes panic. 2. Was cognitive behaviour therapy and changing my outlook on life from the nihilism i had acquired through the years and back to my old optimistic/progressive thinking self. Learning to let go of anger and hatred and channel that energy into positive functions. and 3. the one you asked about... the Diet. Trigeminal Neuralgia, in the form I have, like many illnesses is caused by chronic body wide inflammation. Being over weight does not help that either. So, to counter both the inflammation and the weight gain... i went with a drastic approach. In the transhumanist and longevity communities there is much research being done into CR diets. CR standing for Caloric Restriction. Essentially what it entails is figuring out how many calories your body uses on an average day, and reducing your intake by 40% of that. so say if you went by the guidelines of a 2000 calorie a day diet as the FDA currently recommends you would reduce it to a 1200 calorie a day diet. Each meal eaten is eaten with its nutritional purposes pre-thought out, no fast foods, no high glycemic carbs, very little sugars... no simple sugars, nothing inflammatory. Lots of vegetables, lean proteins, garlic and hot pepper, olive oil, peanuts, still low fat but ingesting needed fats, and using proper supplementation to get any nutrients you may not be eating. Right now i eat between 1000-1200 calories a day, the wife is eating about 800-1100 and we jog 5 miles a day (well... she cannot jog for at least another week so she will have taken 2 weeks off... but she has been at the gym walking a few miles a day since day 4 of her recovery. (never took a single pain pill) IT has had many bonuses, it has regulated our seratonin levels, we have both lost amazing amounts of weight (when i started i was 188 i am 162 as of this morning... this diet started on Dec 2nd... she is down from 128 to 115) we have been sleeping better and waking up not groggy, our energy levels our up.... and my pain has gone away... entirely. http://www.longevitymeme.org/topics/calorie_restriction.cfm
