The discipline of abstaining from food due to anorexia instead of bingeing/purging is way more manly. But really, not giving a fuck and eating what you want is the manliest. Agree with ya, eating disorders are for chicks.

all eating disorders are lame. we were studying them again in psych the other week and whilst i try and try i just can't feel empathy for someone with this type of disorder.

The only males I've ever really heard of having eating disorders are high school and college wrestlers. I know in my days of HS wrestling I skipped a meal or two once in a while(like the day of a meet and I was over like one pound), but I never remember me or any team member doing anything drastic(I remember one kid talking about taking water pills, but he was notorious for making shit up). As for female eating disorders, me and a buddy were having a discussion about that one one day. He said he would rather have a gal who looked anorexic than have a small bit of chunkiness to her. I said I would rather have a girl a bit of flab than frail, sickly one that rejected life's second greatest pleasure(food). He responded that the anorexic chick would at least show some interest in keeping herself looking healthy(or something to that effect). I dunno, some of my friends have been known to say some pretty ignorant crap sometimes. One of my friends actually believes that "pulling out" is a 100% effective and fool-proof method of birth control, and nobody has been able to convince him otherwise. I tried to tell him about something called pre-cum, but he told me "Dude, you just have to know how to use your wiener." Wow, got way off topic there. Sorry
