Yes, although I've no idea what the charges are...perhaps the racketeering/prostitution angle could be something to do with the fact he uses members of the site as male talent in his content? Some young turk in the DA's office probably thinks he can make some tenuous connection between the fact that members of the site get to interact with the girls (by splooging on them), but have to pay for it (via purchasing a membership to COHF.com) as opposed to an American Bukkake shoot where Jeff pays the guys to perform. Whether a case can be proven is neither here nor there right now...it just means that COHF are going to be involved in a lot of costly and time/energy sapping legal wrangling for the forseeable future. A conviction may not be the goal here, rather the authorities are just looking to fuck with him and his business/cashflow until he can no longer keep doing business.
Of course, having said that, it could be something entirely unrelated to COHF.com, but when you look at the two guys fingered by the law on this one, I'd tend to doubt it.
What will be interesting to see is how the industry reacts...remember, the general industry consensus seems to be that Rob Black and Jeff Steward deserve everything they get because they make 'extreme' porn, so it's okay to just say 'fuck 'em, they we're asking for it' and turn your back on them. Ray Guhn, as far as I can see, doesn't make particularly 'extreme' porn outside of the fact it's group sex/bukkake...will the industry be rallying around him, or will he be getting the sanctimonious cold shoulder?

Then again, why they would choose to set up shop in Northwest Florida is beyond me. It ain't exactly San Francisco down there...
No, but the fishing is good.

Within 10 minutes of meeting her in Vegas I got a BJ in the middle of the Mandalay Bay. Good girl that one! She's way hotter in person IMO. As for the prosecution it's unfuckingbelievable!
The guys that run COHF have been very good to me. I wish them all the best, I just wish I could do something. Anyone think the Free Speech Coalition may get involved? It's absolutely retarded. The silver lining may be that if the case is won then there'll be a precedent set for Florida. Like what happened here in BC with sweet. They did the industry a huge favour by fighting it.

I liked Florida, I stayed along the Gulf Coast and tramped down to all those little bars along the beach that sell twelve shrimp for $1.20 and a beer for $1.25.
Bevies of nubile young females would parade around in bikinis that didn't have six square inches of material.
I don't think I'll be going back.

Mike South writes.....
Ray Operates the site cumonherface.com
This is a State Charge not a federal charge and the case is going to hinge largely on whether or not hiring people to perform in adult films and for adult websites is prostitution. In California this was already decided in Los Angeles V. Freeman, and that is why shooting in L.A. is legal. In other areas it is untested.
The Racketeering charges where no doubt levelled in order to seize Ray's assets without due process.
These charges are state charges for Florida, If Ray looses this could very well be bad for anyone shooting in Florida, including all the icy porn sites, bang brothers, milfhunters etc.

This should be an interesting event on how well Florida will handle the industry. Who knows maybe the Tampa Show won’t draw as many followers especially if producers are scared about getting busted.

Frankly, I'd like to see webmasters explore other locations and give Florida the cold shoulder whilst this case is ongoing.

I guess it's not surprising that both cashtitan.com and cumonherface.com are now off-line...

Well like I said the Tampa show would be one thing but there also is the summer Internext in Hollywood, FL. So its really a matter of standing your ground and not being intimidated otherwise they will do to porn the same way they treat strip clubs in some areas. They just had the exxxotica miami and I didnt hear of anyone being arrested there and you know they did shoots after hours. The cold hard facts are that there only two towns the dont fuck with pornographers in Florida is Tampa & Miami

I wonder if this'll affect the Miami show. It's my favourite show if the year but it'd be a great place for the fuzz to crash.
As for Ray Guhn and Cash Titans, I hope they beat this shit down and sue the Government for being stupid.

I just noticed this in the article! Holy shit! Man I hope Jim is gonna be ok. He's always treated everyone with respect and does not deserve these charges. FUCK!

the new canadian content was neat and all, but wasn't as hard as teh stuff from a the first couple years.
I did notice that Tobi (a recent cohf regular/canadian chick) appeared on one of meatmembers sites recently...anyway, that's one less production company working/hiring up here in BC now.
Tobi is awesome. No question.
This lawsuit has no effect on the Canadian companies, except that we have lost a valuable and respectable client to the new theocracy that used to be the free USA.
As for not being as hard, we were specifically asked to tone down our antics. As it wasn't what they wanted to convey on thier site.
I am anxious for the day they are aquitted and renew thier endeavours. Till then Ray, and everyone else that I don't want to name on this board; your welcome here in BC anytime.

PENSACOLA, Fla. — Prosecutors have charged adult webmaster Ray Guhn with money laundering, adding to existing obscenity, racketeering and prostitution charges filed last year. Kevin Patrick Stevens, Andrew Kevin Draft, William Lee Beach and Thomas W. Dwyer also have been charged in the case. Jane Marie Dreka is being sought by authorities for arrest.
Prosecutors also have dropped Guhn's charges in Escambia County, where the case has been ongoing for a year, and re-filed them in Santa Rosa County, an act that his attorney Lawrence Walters told XBIZ is likely an attempt at venue shopping.
"I can only imagine that the prosecutors are trying to obtain an advantage by moving to another county to get a more favorable jury or judge," Walters said. "We have been litigating for a year in Escambia and we don't think it's appropriate to start over."
Walters also said that the new money laundering charges are more serious than any of Guhn's others. He said Florida law states that if a person profits from the commission of any crime — including obscenity — then the government can claim money laundering is taking place.
"If all material is presumed to be protected by the constitution until declared illegal by the judge or jury, then how could my client have had any idea that there was any attempt to money launder?" Walters said.
Walters' next priority, he said, is to have the case transferred back to Escambia County. He said that the state constitution declares defendants have the right to choose which venue in which to be prosecuted, as long as it is available, and Escambia County clearly is available.
Walters said he has filed a motion to transfer and expects a hearing to be scheduled next month.
He said that there is no case law that recognizes that the government can add money laundering charges and move the trial location. Though it's unfortunate that the charges have reached this extent, he said, this case is becoming more important.
"It's another groundbreaking precedent issue that this case may actually resolve," Walters said.
Guhn, whose real name is Clinton McCowan, was arrested last year on charges of racketeering, engaging in prostitution and the manufacture and sale of obscene material. The arrest culminated a months-long investigation into the operations of Guhn's company, Global Technologies Inc., doing business as Ray Guhn Productions. The website that he shot content for, CumOnHerFace.com, is part of the Cash Titans affiliate program, which he owned.
Assistant State Attorney Russ Edgar did not respond to an interview request by press time.
