This is almost hot off the wire, but apparently it is disadvatageous to the point of suicidal for folks who choose to perform in hardcore pornography, particularly young women for reasons that are obvious in a society built upon a patriarchal bedrock. If you are to get involved in this business, studies show it's potentionally advantageous financially, emotionally, spiritually, and mortally only if you get involved in the production end, and even then it's more risky than restaurantuering.
