Today I didn't feel like going out and my friend Lazerbeak came over to get some musica from me. Homeboy has the worst taste in music (in my opinion) though occasionally we agree on some things- like I turned him into the Miami Vice soundtrack which a complete sleeze fest and perfect for crusing around town with. Anyway- as we were checking out different tunes with the tv on a special on Skinheads came on A&E and I started telling Lazerbeak about how I was collecting pictures of Skin Bryds.
"Oh shit man- just the other day Emma and I hanged out with a couple of skinheads. They were actually pretty cool."
This came as quite a surprise because Lazerbeak is such a hiphop fan I cannot for the life of me imagine him hanging out with skinheads. He's more the type to kick it on the curb with some homies jamming to a Raekwon mixtape or something.
LUNCH break found us with handmade chicken cordon bleu.... flattened boneless chicken breast with a layer of cooked ham (not very fatty at all), and cheese rolled up into a solid unit, breaded, deep-fried and then baked and served with a heaping ladleful of lemony hollandaise sauce. On the side were a choice of mashed or baked potatoes ( i chose the mashed potatoes with the yellow gravy, and regreted my decision because normally the mashed potatoes are fresh, however today they were instant...live and learn), a mixed pile of steamed peas and carrots and a sesame-crusted slice of vienna bread with butter spread across the side. i washed all of this down with a can of sunkist orange-flavored soda. Lazer canned himself a brew of Bud.

i made eggs for brunch, then we went out to dinner. i puked. she fell asleep. we drank way too much, i'm in some strange fog atm.

mmm Shrimp Scampi. That sounds good rights about now.
Today I actually slept through LUNCH which is weird coz I was craving a Margarita. My gf has really turned me onto those things. Normally I wouldn't be caught dead with such a light cocktail but with the perfect blend of Tequila it's a hard one to resist.
Supper was a meatloaf with some potatoes and carrots to the side. I haven't been eating enough carrots so I'm going to do a little carrot binge here soon.
Tonight I'm watching Somewhere in Time with Christopher Reeve and Jane Seymour. It's supposed to be a sci-fi movie but it's actually got more love story in it, plus its not your typical sci-fi story with a time machine or anything like that. I'll have a margarita later tonight.

Today I hang out with Linda aka Banana Seat Girl. She plays with the Hollywood Potatoe Orchestra and also writes for HBO. I took her to HBO today actually cause she has a reader going through one of her screenplays. Anyway- I was feeling pretty shitty since I had gone to bed pretty late and woken up very early. Kinda sucks coz I wanted to hang out with Linda longer; am trying to boink this broad.
About 2pm I raced to a not very well known Argentinian restaurant, I had a seafood pasta dish, sort of a hybrid Italian/S. American dish....calamari, mussels, prawns, scallops with italian noodles and a very spicy tomato sauce. That's Amore.
On a sidenote: I picked up this album called Selected Remixes and Productions of Sun-Ra. It's done by different contemporary artists and one of them happanes to be this incredibly bangable little mynx that looks like a latin Beady Belle...Yum!

Today I drove to Török Büfé in Santa Monica and had a döner kebab rokkz. The döner kebab is a Turkish rotating meat made with mutton but the rokkz is Hungarian.
Anyway- my döner came on a soft pita flat bread with grilled chicken, cheese, soured cream, tomato salsa, green chile salsa and a squeeze of lemon over the top. I washed this down with a Dreher (domestic Hungarian beer). It's rare to find Hungarian beer outside the country so I felt pretty lucky to get this.
I'm currently listening to a punk group known as The Germs. LaLa, my girlfriend's friend, used to be a former Punk and she put me onto them. She told me they were one of the first L.A. punk groups to hit the scene back in the very late 70s and I have to be honest, I hardly listen to this sort of music but i've been bumping these guys for the past 2 days non stop. Amazing!!

Hey Jeff, is there any newer bands, groups or punk bands that you like today aside from the classics?
I had a mesquite chicken sandwich on wheat bread,swiss cheese for lunch today from Quizno's. Normally I like to make my own but the mesquite chicken has bacon on it and whatever else is in it, is rather addicting. YUM!

Today I didn't eat lunch. I was held up at a Producers office where I had to show a reel of stuff I've done. I'm totally pissed coz the guy took forever to talk and all he did was repeat himself. But there was light on the other side of the tunnel; This totally hot chick from New Zealand working at Weta Digital Ltd joined us. I forget her name but she was supposed to talk about character development of creatures (specifically dragons). I didn't listen to what she was saying- I was mesmorized by her accent and seriousness. As soon as we left the building we started complimenting one anothers work- ofcourse this was a ruse: I totally got her number. So now am home waiting for the girlfriend to prepare some supper. I'm eating early and hopefully I will have something left over for later. I hope you guys had something worthwhile to report though

I woke up super late today and almost missed LUNCH but I wasn't about to let that happen. I had to return a book to a friend and get some drinks for tonights binge so it was only inevitable that I get myself a decent meal.
I stopped by the Buio Omega Cafe to get myself semmel but ended up ordering an extrawurstsemmel with gurkerl. Extrawurstsemmel is a kaiserroll with a sausage and tastes divine. I'm not too into sodas so I asked for some apple juice with ice.
Tonight I had plans on watching Cliffhanger (don't ask) but I picked up this album at Dr Mercury's place which is like a kerosene-enema-induced flare mix of merenge and salsa and bolero; I can't stop listening to it.
So whats going on in your neck of the woods?

Wowzer... what a morning. My girlfriend's friend What came to see us today and made quite a scene when she saw my latest project (might post pictures later). I wasn't feeling too energetic today thanks to the many shots of taquila I had last night (mistake).
LUNCH started with some apple juice and fruchtebrötli (wholemeal fruit bread with whole roasted hazlenuts etc in it!) then i had my two mandarins, and then the main part; sushi and some soba noodles with ente (duck) and prawns in a really strong /salty noodle soup that the girlfriend and What ordered for delivery.
I'm going to work for another hour or so before I take the girls out to the Tiki Lounge for poison. Stay tuned for reports and more Luncheon exploits!

Today the girlfriend is sick, and to make matters worse, her friend What came to see her and acted like a total twat: ignoring me and feeding my girlfriend a load of paranoia, telling her my habits and lifestyle are whats affecting her health. I detest this girl greatly right now... but I cannot get upset with the wifey all sickly and sleepy.
But enough of the henpecking- you good citizens want to know about LUNCH.
Today i had a lettuce, tomato, and cucumber salad topped with an amazing "ken's steak house" brand caesar dressing. i followed this with a butter-drenched, heavily salted/peppered baked potato and a grilled lamb chop. This delicious luncheon I washed down with an iced cold samuel adams boston lager. prost!

I had a fricadelle today. It's an elongated meatball made with ground meat and a variety of complementary ingredients and seasonings; in my case Ground Belgian Blue Beef, dry bread crumbs, thinly sliced onions, nutmeg, salt, pepper.. the whole SHABANG!
The girlfriend is feeling better and has gone back to her companion duties. As for me, I'm sitting on the couch watching movies and flicking through channels. I might get around to watching the new bella flick soon!

I've decided that either porn stars should not be allowed to have friends outside of the sex industry or they should be put into containment camps like we did with the Japs in World War II.
It's porn entrepreneur Taylor Wane's fault that I feel this way. Recently, I was to meet a metal band called Nile. I didn't know anything about the band aside from their name, which led me to believe they were from Egypt, so I decided to have some fun with them. Being from Egypt I thought they'd enjoy it if I dressed up as a pharaoh.
Then I thought, 'Everyone loves T&A, I should get a sexy lady to come with me dressed as Cleopatra.' I decided to call Taylor because she's a good sport and has a great sense of humour. She loved the idea.
The next day we went to a costume shop, picked out our outfits and I bought a rubber chicken. Afterwards, we returned to her place and had crazy circus sex that involved every one of her orifices. That's a lie. She just gave us a tour of her home, showing us where all the magic happens on her own personal porn set equipped with bed, whipping post, sex swing and anything else one might need to film a dirty movie.

Last night was weird. I was boinking my lady when What called at 4am. I picked up the phone thinking it was a family member but it turns out this cunt was drunk and needed someone to take her home. My girlfriend offered but I decided to do it because she doesn't drive well at night. Actually, I don't know any females that do.
So I get dressed and make a dash for the Tiki Bar (our favorite watering hole) and What is standing outside sucking on a ciggie and wearing something that looks similar to what Alicia Silverstone wore in Clueless when she went to that houseparty trying to hook up homegirl with Tye (fsck you, I know you watched it too).
So.. I pick up homegirl and now am making a dash for her place right? And homegirl is making moves on me. I'm pretty surprised considering me and What don't see eye to eye on many things (particularly last week) but I guess she's left it all behind. I had a pretty decent buzz going and it's surprising I didn't feel her up (or did I?) but after getting her home she gave me this sheepish look that translated to "you know where I live right?"
I make the dash home and girlfriend is asleep. DAMMIT!
I woke up at LUNCH-time and had curry-chicken with rice. delicious! So now you know.

Tony, try The Lincoln Steakhouse over at Wilshire. It's a little on the expensive side but they have great food. I tend to frequent that place quite a lot- but I sit way at the back and pretend to read a magazine or something.
Today I woke up with quite the appettite. I had to meet a milf called Erin at about 2pm but I was running late so I called her and asked her to meet me at Chipotle. When I feel lazy I go here because they make me feel like am getting a subway without the health positive crap.
I kinda felt sorry for Erin because she has a thing where she never speaks up. I know I really fscked up (being late and all) and even though I appologized and she accepted and said "don't worry about it" I still felt a bit guilty so I decided to pay for her food.
Now when it comes to Mexican food I'm not too adventerous because I can't stand something with too much spice. So I ordered two Chicken Fajita. The Fajita, for those that didn't know, is just like a burrito but with sauteed peppers and onions instead of beans. The vegetarian fajita has both sauteed veggies and black beans instead of meat, and comes with guacamole. I know the girls that work behind the counter because I always make jokes with them so whenever I get a meal here they give me a free coke just for being such a jolly lad.
Erin and I sat near the back (not close to the potty because I don't need to hear customers getting worked on by their bean burritos). Turns out later tonight she has a showing for some of her work and she asked whether I wanted to tag along. I'm still thinking about it.
LUNCH was great. See you all at the new Lunar Colony tonight!

One Christmas, my mom and dad had loads of people round and they cooked a salmon. I took the skeleton afterwards and put it on one of my turntables under a sheet of plastic, angled the arm the right way, took the cartridge off and played it. It made a fscking racket. So I took it down to Andy's, put it into the software and made a track out of it.
Another time we went to the Zoo and found a dead baby monkey- it must have got out of a cage and died, we just found it on the ground- so Andy put it in his bag. When we got it back to the house, we stuck it in a chair, shoved a pipe up its ass and kept pressing its stomach and it made a sound like "phthut phtut". Eventually a new song was made called "Banana Monkey Boogie".
Today I had smoked salmon for LUNCH that triggered this nostalgia. I might make some music later tonight.

Ah. Chico you've asked a very good question and I can tell you're a person who takes their luncheon very seriously. Good for you sir.
Columbian restaurants are hard to find. The key is to find Columbian cuisine to begin with, which, given their reputation for coke, isn't exactly easy.
One place I can recommend is Restaurante Chibcha (Comida colombiana y caribeña) on W. Sunset Boulevard. They're cusine isn't exactly top notch but if you want to sample, this is a good place to start. To tell you the truth, if you want Columbian, find a Columbian and see whether they have a grandmother. The new generation (i.e. 3rd generation plus) is polluted.
Argentinian: now this gets tricky. You see, Argentina is mostly known for music outside it's own borders so their food gets mixed with a lot of Spanish.
Carlitos Gardel on Melrose for a Spanish type flair or Guacho Grill in Pasedena should fill your appettite.
In Clairmont they have a place called El Tango Argentino but I only drank here: never ate, so I cannot really be accurate about the cuisine (shop with caution).
Venezuelan: damn pal. Your really going exotica aren't you? Unfortunately I don't know any Venezuelan establishments that can cater strictly to their ethnic cuisine. Jump around, shop around, eat out and meal in. Venezuelan chicks are some of the hottest chicks in the universe so who knows what they're cooking?

I recall there being a good Argentine restaurant just north of the main intersection in Sierra Madre, The Pepper Tree Grill.

It really angers me like a five year old having a shit fit. So I spoiled myself last night and had crab meat ravioli with lobster bisque sauce with red bell peppers chopped. It was the best thing in the world at Louise's Trattoria here in Westlake Village. If you're out towards this direction you have to try it. It's off of Westlake Blvd and Thousand Oaks Blvd. next to Trader Joes. They even have amazing chicken parmesan. THeir alfredo sauce is so tasty (thats for you Malice 
) and if you fear traditional noodles, they have wheat noodles instead but.. I think it's a disgrace.
