Always with his finger on the pulse of XPT, COAH raises yet another point that I have avoided until now. I'm loathe to use the "W" word in conversation around here, I'll politely pass on it. Why I can't say exactly, I guess its just how I was raised. I think there are both women and men active on this board who might deserve this moniker, but I'll leave it up to the more abrasive elements around here to call it out when appropriate. I've brought up this issue on at least one occaision here, and several times in one-on-one debates. Namely, when considering the morally corrosive effects of pornography, why is the focus almost exclusively on the women who perform? We -meaning primarily male consumers- seem rather more disquieted by the shameful debasement of the girls who fuck and suck for a dollar, and rather less concerned with the men who do the same... or, for that matter, with those of us who actually pay to watch this. What's the real substantive difference between the female whores vs the male whores, or between the whore and the john... if any? Is the difference in perception just one more manifestation of a condescending male patriarchy terrified by the notion of a woman every bit as willing and eager to fuck for money as a man?

Well my experience has been that the vast majority of American women that I've met don't like sex, they think it's dirty and wrong, and they think men are sex addicts and deranged if they want to have sex with a woman.
So my experience is that women don't like sex, and therefore must be desperate for money or deranged to have sex.
When I was in the Philippines, and Germany I came across women who didn't have the strict puritan upbringing in the United States that sex is a bad thing, a weapon to be used against men.
Incidents of Rape are higher in the United States than many other countries, I think partially because of the attitudes men and women have about sex.
I'm not going to say I'm an average male, though I fit into many of the "average" categories, but I do think about sex a lot and I hope to meet a woman who likes sex. I think men think about sex a lot because it's something many women deny to them. If women were to give it up more often, perhaps men would then start to become less obsessed and more responsible (and porn would probably be a lot less profitable).
When they legalized drug use, prostitution, and pornography in Holland, they had a upsurge in all three for about five years, then a massive drawback. These things were no longer seen as taboo. Now the Prostitutes, drugs, and porn are primarily the staples of pent up vacationers who partake of the debaucheries denied them in their home country.
Side Note: While Visiting Amsterdam I met an American Girl who was working in the Red Light District as a Prostitute. She was in the Army and went to visit Amsterdam. She discovered she didn't mind sucking cock for money, had to work about three days a week to earn good money, and the attitudes in Holland were very relaxing and liberating, so she deserted and stayed in Amsterdam. She was fairly attractive as well.
I'm not terrified of the thought of a woman who likes sex, I'm terrified that there seem to be so few in the United States.
I had hoped that there were women in Porn who were in Porn because they really liked sex, not just to support their drug habits, or were willing to do  for the money.

maybe my experience is just a cultural thing... australia does seem to be more sexually liberated than the (admittedly few) americans i've met, but we're way behind the europeans.
either way, i still reckon if you took away all the social condition, women would still want sex more than men...

When I was in the Service (USAF) I'd talk to guys who'd been to Australia who said that there were more women than men, maybe it's just Sydney or something? They also said that the Australian women treated American Men, like American Women treat Australian Men, or better.
