I have a number of internet modeling sites - mostly non-nude to semi-nude tease sites - no real sex. Now I am working on my first hardcore site (looking to graduate). I am working on an adult video, as well as putting together some novel conent for the web site. Unlike most video companies or web site companies I not only pay talent up front, but as an option I partner with my talent. I set the sites up - pay all costs, set up the billing in a corporate name, market the site (which is what I do best) and then distribute the profits between me as manager.operator and the girls. We have a few girls doing non-nude/semi-nude making a ton of money as percentage partners BUT they have the very young look, are totally uninhibited about what they will do, trust my judgment about how to make content fresh, and that's what works best. I also pay non-porn models by the hour with no profit-sharing - from $50 to $200 an hour depending on a number of factors - mostly their age and look. I also have sites where I pool girls together for content and depending on the amount of content they provide (which changes as the site changes) is the basis for a determination of their profit sharing. In this instance I can do cash up front for work or partnerships and back end deals. I am not greedy, think the talent should get a fair shake at the profits, well educated and totally above-board in all of my endeavors. In my opionion, it's all about making everyone happy.

What is who I am matter? Does a painter need to know all about his employer? Or just that he's being paid to do a job? It's XYZ CORP and I'm promoting a new web site without a name yet - how's that sound asshole? I think the only relevant consideration is the pay. What I do with it is my business not yours. The ad was for talent. You're too stupid to be talented and if yoru a manager of some kind (if that was even possible given your logical short-commings) even if you had Madonna under contract for her first on screen anal, I wouldn't work with your fucking stupid trolling ass. FYI ANYONE ELSE - FOR NON-PARTNERING TALENT, the offer of Pay is traveling expenses, accomodations, plus $300 to $3,000 for female solo, girl/girl and boy/girl, fetish, etc. per scene depending on the talent, the requirements, etc. And I'm flying you in to sunny Florida. On monster.com, you don't see job listings posted as, "Hey, anyone wanna be a bank teller up in diz bizatch?" I bet you always tell your civilian friends that you don't understand why porn isn't taken as seriously as any professional job. As talent, it's not just about the money and if your target market is any crackhead who is just about the money, your business will encounter a lot of flakes. Your website may not have a name yet, but your company should. Follow all the same protocol as a regular business, and you will be viewed as one.

You obviously do not know who Chico is. He is a very well established producer in the industry and more successful than most of us would ever expect to be. He is right. It smells fishy. Although, I never have time to go back and forth in these forums. Bottomline, do you have model references and what is your series called? You do need to provide more info before booking talent. Your company name may not matter specificly. But, providing samples of sites you shoot for is always a good idea. The more you hide about yourself the more shady the deal will sound to someone. Remember this is a very corupt industry with many scams out there. If you don't want to be lumped into that catagory. Be upfront. Simple as that.
