There are a good handful of good names in the industry on that page and most of them are listed to only available for video work not escorting. I'm talking about the ones listed as escorts. Most of them never furthered their biz in the industry as a performer and some just resorted to only escorting cuz they probably didn't want their face all over a box cover for whatever reason. And sorry dude but I dont lack class. At least i can overcome my own physical flaws and deal with them than resorting to a plastic surgeon even to allow them to just fuck up royally. Give me a break LOL!!! But then again to each their own, some people just like the cut-up and re-pasted look. But it sure says a lot about a person. Sure there are major differences between being a pornstar and a porn star escort .... there is a business aspect to the way a pornstar performs for the profit maximation of a production company but in both cases, the referent woman is ultimately, engaging in sexual encounters for monetary benefit. Do not tell me that $$$$$ is not the major impetus for most woman aspiring to become pornstars. Bottom line the former is in a business context with the intent to produce jerk off material and an unattainable fantasy for the target consumer and the later is a more informal arrangement with some rich, Joe-Schmoe fan willing to dole out that amount of money to have the chance to make their porn fantasies a reality. Besides that, what is the difference really? I just think the pornstars in the last list who are using their pornstar appellation and physical assets to make $$$$ on the side are just more business savvy and realize that escorting at these rates can become an additional revenue stream for them, perhaps even more lucrative than doing porn films for a living. Think about it, you go to any PSE website and the minimum these pornstar charge for "an hour of their companionship" is $1500 .... that is good money for doing something they're a 'pro' at anyways. If you look at purely financial figures, the majority of the revenue generated by the industry lines the wallets of the production companies and owners, not the talent. Like Gen implied, boobs and asses will eventually subside to senescence and their exists a shelf life for every hot pornstar so they might as well make the most amount of $$$$ they can on the side with escorting, feature dancing, websites, memorabilia etc.

As far as its being illegal, I’m talking about the website only, its not. The post 9/11 patriot act clause allowing some snooping of stuff that had nothing to do with terrorism was used to try to take down www.bigdoggie.net but was defeated under the protection granted by the 1st amendment.
There are many websites like this but Big Doggie and TER are the biggest two that I know of. RS2000 and DateCheck are two major verification services that I know of. You can do a Google search to find more.
Escorting is not illegal; exchanging sex for money is illegal. When you see an escort you are paying for her time. If two consenting adults then decide to have sex it’s their business.
Reviews at public boards allow clients to know in advance if a girl does or does not do specific acts. If you think a girls is going to do something then she does not you use the review systems to let others know. It’s a self regulating system.
