The Witchfinder General (aka The Conqueror Worm) is one of the UK's finest - and low budget - classic horror films.
One question. I have this film on video, taped off the television. The thing is, at the end, Ian Ogilvy chops up Vincent Price with an axe. The accompanying music seems to have been spliced up, making me think that several seconds were edited out.
Were they Smartt? If you know, that is...
