A couple of weeks back I chatted with Genesis Skye and since I’m a such pill encrusted slacker I just got off my duff to transcribe it for publication in a near future Swank review publication. It all depends on when my editor who wields the houglass decides. So, to make up for my inertia I decided to post this bit as a tease until I get the rest online. Smutmutant: Are you ready to roll?
Genesis: Yup!
Smutmutant: So where did you grow up?
Genesis: I was born and raised in Wisconsin and I lived in Wakesha my whole life.
Smutmutant: Was it boring growing up in the Midwest?
Genesis: Very. When I was a teenager all we did was get drunk.
Smutmutant: I guess that’s pretty much true for most teenagers. Get drunk.
Genesis: Yeah, but we didn’t even go out. There was nothing to do. Then I move to California and nobody parties.
Smutmutant: Nobody parties?
Genesis: No. I’m used to partying hardcore every weekend and out here you’re lucky to find a house party.
Smutmutant: Yeah, I guess it’s a misconception porn people are always partying 24-7. It’s just not true.
Genesis: No, it’s not.
Smutmutant: Did you move out to California before you did porn?
Genesis: No, I did porn for websites. I was only doing girl-girl up until July of this year. I came out here for a week. Went home for 10 days and then moved out here.
Smutmutant: What were those websites you worked for?
Genesis: cdbabes.com, teleshots.com, baregirls... etc. etc.
Smutmutant: How did you hook up with them?
Genesis: I was on one model place. Posted my pix on there and had references from other people I worked for.
Smutmutant: Did you know anybody before you moved out to Cali?
Genesis: Nope, not really, but I came out here with Mandy Taylor. She only did a couple of movies and she’s out already. Anyway, she lived by me and she got me into doing websites and she dragged me out here. I had just broken up with my boyfriend, so I’m like “let’s go!”
Smutmutant: Were you nervous getting into it?
Genesis: Obviously I was little nervous before I did my first scene, but I’m a very sexual person who loves sex, so for me it was trying to ignore the camera.
Smutmutant: When was the first time you had sex?
Genesis: When I was 14 and I’ve been pretty much sexually active since then. I love sex. Boyfriends were always saying that I want sex too much.
Smutmutant: Geez, you’d get no complaints from me. Those guys couldn’t handle it?
Genesis: I guess not. I was pretty horny to the point I was sexually frustrated.
Smutmutant: They didn’t know how lucky they were.
Genesis: Now they know what I do and they’re like e-mailing me all the time saying stuff like, “when you come home we need to get together.” I’m like, “fuck you guys!”
Smutmutant: I love it, now they wanna bang you all the time because you’re a porn star.
Did you watch much porn before you got into it?
Genesis: Not really. I watched it some before, but after I turned 19 I started really getting into it. I more of an exhibitionist anyway.
Smutmutant: Did you start stripping?
Genesis: No, I was just always the life of all the parties I went to.
Smutmutant: You got drunk and danced around naked?
Genesis: Oh, on pool tables. At my 19th birthday party I was the one naked on the pool table.
Smutmutant: Wow, do your parents know what you do now?
Genesis: My dad and my step dad know what I do. My mom knows I do porn, but she thinks I only do girls.
Smutmutant: Oh, that's funny.
Genesis: What’s really funny was when I told her that I was bisexual she spent days trying to convince me I wasn’t. I’m like “Mom I like girls!” and she was like “No you don’t!”
Smutmutant: Would she flip out if she knew you were doing guys though?
Genesis: Well, I went home two weeks ago and she asked me if I was doing guys and I said “of course not!”
Smutmutant: White lies are often necessary when it comes to participating in pornography.
Genesis: Yeah, but then she asked me where the movies were sold. I’m like, “porn shops” and she’s like, “Not out here?” Then I said, “No mom, why would they sell them out here?”
