I'm not sure what are the going rates in the US. Here in the UK for g/g it's around $160 per hour.

On Sepulveda Blvd. the going rate is 20 bucks for fifteen minutes.

From what I can see "you americans" seem to pay rather too well. For a g/b scene here in the UK around $660 only if your a top adult model. Then you could ask for more. Not someone just getting into the scene.

Here in the Northeast, B/G rates are around $500 - $600 and full day rates around $1000. #200 for BJ and $300 for G/G.

$800 for G/G is absurd. There are so many girls who want to get into porn, and industry sales are way down... I know a lot of "name" pornstars who are crying the blues that they're not getting enough work in LA. One told me that she used to shoot three or four times a week, and now is lucky to get five or six booking a month.

One "A" list girl quoted me $2000 for a B/G, and when I balked at the price she ended up agreeing to $1200. And this is a VERY well known former contract star.

I understand and agree that a girl is entitled to make as much money as she can, but with the ever increasing number of women getting into porn along with sagging sales, one has to take into account supply and demand and adjust their rates accordingly.

You say you're just getting started... I don't know if you're talking about producing movies or a website, but to survive on the internet you need to update content weekly. If you're paying talent a minimum of $1000 up to $1500 per scene, by the time you pay a cameraman, a makeup artist, an editor, location and bandwidth costs, etc. you're looking at at least $7000 a month for overhead. At $24.95/month membership fees, after CCBill takes their 17 or 18% you need at least 350 members just to reach the break even point. At 500 members you're making $3000 profit... you're not exactly getting rich and you're certainly not making enough money to reinvest to grow your business. With the number of adlut sites on the web, maintaining 500 monthly memberships isn't as easy as you may think.

Shooting for video/DVD is much the same... at the rate you're willing to pay, you're looking at $10,000 production costs for a standard five scene DVD. Typically, a new release from a new producer may sell 1000 units. IF you can find a distributor, and IF you can negotiate receiving $10 per DVD you'll break even. Now to be honest, I don't have a lot of experience in shooting content for video/DVD releases, so I might be completely wrong in my figures... but if so I'm sure someone here will correct me...

My feelings are that $300 for a BJ, $400 for G/G, $800 for B/B and $1000 for B/G/A is fair pricing for 98% of the talent out there.
