I've been looking at that odd credit on the incredible new album from A Perfect Circle, 'Thirteeth Step'...

The liner notes credit 'Chasey Lain', a former porn star.

The album is a concept album, about the road from addiction to recovery.

I didn't know much about Chasey, but something stuck out at me in this weeks LA WEEKLY.

Apparently, Chasey is now available for rental, as proven by her ad in the back of the weekly. You can even call her on her cell phone. 213-736-0410.

Now I was really curious, so I went to www.lukeford.com and looked her up under the 'Stars' category, under 'L'- for Lain.

As I was doing this, 'The Original Wicked Woman' came up on my television set, on The Ecstasy Channel.

Oh my God. It all came together.

This girl went from being one of the biggest stars of the industry to a...well...take a look at Lukeford, and the ad in the back of this week's LA Weekly...and judge for yourself.

Is the 'Thirteenth Step' album about Chasey Lain?

If anyone knows Maynard, I sure would like to know...

From the lyrics, it sure seems to fit her fall from grace...

Just wondering.

Wow.

What a sad, sad story.

Let that, and the movie 'Wonderland' be a warning to you, folks.

This porn life can fall apart in an instant.

I pray for the girl I knew, and I hope to God she doesn't end up like Chasey.

However, just like Chasey, I guess there isn't much one can do if someone chooses that path. All I can do is...pray.

I pray that God keeps her safe, and that one day, when she is not so angry anymore...she'll understand I really do care.
