Next March Playboy will no longer publish photos of nude women...

Last nude "photos" I seen outta Playboy were the Lindsay Lohan ones, and calling them "photos" was a stretch. I have seen more life like renditions created on an iPad.

I need to see gaping and/or gagging to get aroused. I'm sure I'm not alone. Playboy needed to go harder or focus on the articles to be relevant.

They probably make more money renting out the mansion for hooker parties than they do on the magazine.

I haven't checked lately, but the mansion used to be mortgaged to Bank of America, so I doubt too much profit goes in there.

Hef finally took the company private again a few years ago, meaning he defrauded the public on a stock that never appreciated in value, never paid a dividend, as was a joke on the trading floor. He will die functionally penniless. He has to rent the mansion from the company, and since there are no reality tv shows about this elder-turdbag anymore, it's the only asset the company owns.

Not exactly. The magazine is worthless, and in fact somehow manages to lose about three million bucks a year, but that PLAYBOY trademark is a juggernaut. All the value in that company is in the trademark, which gets licensed out for all kinds of things overseas.

I thought Tiger Woods should have embraced his inner perv and gotten backers to buy the brand from Hef.

The strange thing is that although the magazine is financially worthless, it is in fact a good magazine. Or has been in the past; I don't know exactly, because I haven't picked up a PLAYBOY magazine in 15 years or more. It was a damn good magazine in the 1970s and 1980s. But it loses money.

I tend to think it loses money because the expense of the Playboy Mansion and its denizen the Cryptkeeper, plus his various whores, costs a lot of money. Playboy Enterprises says that the Mansion and the Playboy Lifestyle are necessary to maintain the value of the PLAYBOY brand — i.e., that if there weren't rock star and celebrity-studded parties going on at the Playboy Mansion with sexy young women cavorting naked in the Grotto, the PLAYBOY brand would not command the interest that it does. We may be on the verge of finding out, because Hef is going to be 90 next spring. Yes, lapping up the Precious Bodily Fluids™ of so many nubile young women over six decades has extended his lifespan, but Hef is clearly living on borrowed time. When he goes, so goes the Playboy Lifestyle, I'd guess.

I bought a nice Playboy t-shirt before I went to Greece for vacation. It was in the "kitsch" t-shirt section of Nordstrom's.

Never wore it. I bought it mostly because of all of the English sluts there, but I ended up not going out all that much. Anyway, I'm currently trying to learn Greek. My first two lessons have taught me the first 8 letters of the alphabet: Alpha, Beta, Gamma, Delta, Epsilon, Zeta, Eta, Theta.
