No question Tiny Tove appeared in underage situations when she was certainly of age, but Anna's early stuff appears to have been genuinely underage and Little Heidi couldn't have been more than 16 when she first started doing her hardcore. I'm sure most people will disagree with me, but if I could set a minimum age for girls it would be early 20's, like 20 or 21.

Eighteen is the lowest legal age set already and it's easier for a director/producer to get a 18-year-old to fit the teen or young girl niche than it is for a 21-yr-old.
Raising the legal performing age to 21 or older wouldn't necessarily be in the talent's best interest. The current shelf life of an actress's porn career is generally much shorter than it was years ago. If a girl starts her mark in porn at 18, she can be out by 19 or 20 and still pick up where she left off before porn and not be too far behind her peers.
It seems this debate infers female talent. Would this apply to male talent as well?

If the overriding requirement of male talent is wood maintenance and endurance, along with multiple pops, then fuck it, 16 year old horny dudes will fit, just get the makeup artists to become proficient at hiding any teen zits they might have. Glancing at some demographics, setting an age requirement is equivalent to taking food from a dumpster away from the bellies of the homeless. I'm almost certain the age law was pushed through by an ugly old fat guy who couldn't get laid. A lot of good that does for third world countries. This is the real question. Obviously you can if you are old enough to sign a contract, but when should a girl be allowed to begin a career as a porn whore? Assuming for a brief moment that there are no laws against child pornography, can a girl under 18 years of age really comprehend the issues in embarking on this kind of career? Perhaps in some limited instances. In hindsight, Traci Lords seemed obviously aware of her decisions in tricking an already experienced porn agent into thinking she was legal. But I don't think the exceptions should dictate the rule.

I really believe that it is not a numerical question, but a question of why do you find young women attractive.

I've always assumed that stories of Anna or Tove or whoever being underage were just marketting ploys. No honestly she's 18! You must have read that in the Bullshit Conjecture Times, along with the fake US moonlanding. Anna, Heidi and Tove were well over 18 before they ever started to make any film or do any magazine. All companies have this well documented. I can clearly tell these women are at least 18. Some people here must be getting old or need new bifocals!

Look over the grey haired mans shoulder. You will see an issue of PM Magazine. That issue is November 12 1992. It could have not been on the news stands in Germany earlier than Oct 1992 and in Color Climax studios any earlier than OCT/November 1992.

Heads Up. I saw this statement this year in the ABPEA Newsgroup about pirating and slandering the Color Climax and HR Production models and respected materials. "Anna and Heidi were both over 18 US years of age before they started any kind of modeling. This rumor mongering is stupid. H.R. Productions takes very seriously ANYONE slandering their models and will be watching carefully for anyone making slanderous statements about the models ages." So it seems that both H.R. Productions and Color Climax have made clear they to the ABPEA, that is, that they will shut down any threads being used for slander and equally follow up for copyright issues for the people posting the materials because they still take these extremely seriously and in this light I expect the of all these companies CEOs will now be carefully watching the statements being made here and on the internet and usenet. Stop committing slander and liable against these models please people!
