So anyways, last night I was watching the movie Gummo for the third time or so. It’s been a few years since I’d seen it last, but I’ve always thought it was great. For Gummo newbies here is a few quick hints:

1. On the back of the DVD box the Plot Synopsis says:Xenia, Ohio, is a small poor and boring city that never fully recovered after a tornado in the 1970s.

It should say: Poor white trash kill cats, sniffs glue, pimps out their retarded sister, and engages in poor hygiene.

2. Also, if you have the DVD: Watch the director’s commentary first. The movie almost makes sense after you listen to that nutjob.
