Mary Carey was an also-ran in the California recall election to replace Gray Davis. I never even knew about her before that. It did give her some undeserved mainstream popularity, which may explain things. Personally, I think she's a sub-par porn slut so I can't think of what else it may be.

Her "issue" in the gubernatorial race was a tax on breast jobs (to promote her real breasts).

Personally, I have never been interested enough to see any of her porn.

The only movie I remember seeing her in was a soft-core called "Model Lust" I think, where she played Holly Hollywood's girlfriend.

I find Mary to be very entertaining. She hosted a party with me in DC with stayed at my house two nights. Some of the stuff that comes out her mouth is priceless.

Luke Ford's goal is to get as many readers to his website as possible...and by publishing "The Adventures of Mary Carey" he believes he gets a readership bump.

Mary Carey is/never has been a "star" in the world of porn. She's never been pretty enough or sexy enough to sell sexvids in any large numbers. She is, however, a "Publicity Seeking People-User" in my opinion. Her run for Governor of California was her using California politics to further her porn career, and has given her some "name" recognition. But her sex scenes still suck.

Mary also has the ability to fool other female porn performers (examples: Tawny Roberts, Kendra Jade) into thinking that Mary is a "funny, harmless friend"--until she splashes their dirty laundry across the internet as part of her publicity stunts. In my opinion, she's a real "User" who cares about nobody but herself.

In his most recent posts about Mary, Luke Ford seems to have had enough of her using (him & other) people for publicity. Mary seemed to be trying to use Luke to get her work at Suze Randall's photo website, because of Luke's on/off relationship with Holly.

Hopefully, he doesn't play her game anymore--or help her trash other porn performers in public.

Funny that the only thing Mary's good for is manipulation/self-promotion and sex and she apparently sucks at both.
