Just wondering why the turnover rate for female talent in gonzo is so high? I was watching a movie yesterday released in 2003 and none of the performers (Kelly Kroft, Cameron Cain, etc.) are still around, at least to my knowledge. Is it the constant anal, too many fresher faces entering the industry almost daily? What is the reason female talent seems to be here today, gone tomorrow?

I think a lot of girls get into the biz today with the hopes of getting rich and famous, thanks largely to the "mainstreamicization" of porn in general, and to Jenna "Crossover" Jameson in particular. I guess the reality of it sinks in quickly when they realize it just boils down to fucking 35 year old guys for rent/drugs. In the old pre-internet days you were a porn whore and you didn't strive to be anything else--like a Dalit.

Just look at the deteriorating state of gonzo these days. Mentally it's a minefield and physically it's a marathon. Only the strong survive.

Take a high school girl with no more than a burger-flip level of disposable income (and responsibility), then one day put her in a job where she can make thousands of dollars every week. Alcohol, drugs and lots of partying may not be far behind, and that puts a lot of miles on the chassis very quickly.
