Holly, it was nice to meet you this evening at the book signing and thank you for the autographed book!

I had fun talking with your mom. This post turned my XPT status into a Mope, hmmmm.

Did anyone "accidentally" bump into you or drop his book behind your back? Or try to lick the seat of your chair when (seemingly) nobody was looking? Buttsniffs are everywhere these days...

How many books did you sign? I'm genuinely interested in how many guys show up for such a thing.

Larry Flynt is one of my Idols, and it is NOT simply because he has a gold plated wheelchair!

The man is actually quite intelligent, albeit a little cuckoo when he was younger, but his defense of free speech and his fight against hypocrisy was pretty amazing given the time and circumstances during which it took place. Larry overcame disability issues far more challenging than anything I ever had to fight, and he beat a severe addiction to opiates despite being in excruciating pain.

I am sorry Holly, i didnt meant to detract from your thread and the attention you deserve, it's just that you mentioned Larry and I get inspired when I think of him. Truth is I am very happy your book is a success and I wish I could have visited the signing. I hope if I see you at AEE/AVN we can have some tea and you will give me my own signed copy!

PS-- Before you went and got yourself hitched to this chap from England, suppose Larry Flynt had asked you out on a date, would you have accepted? Do you possibly see yourself having a relationship with Mr Flynt if he had seriously pursued you and offerred to accomodate all your needs as a woman and as an individual (i.e. Theeee Holly RAndall?) I mean your admiration and love for him as a person in obvious and sincere and quite moving, and I think you once said you liked older men, so could you have developed serious such feelings for Larry and moved beyond/accomodated his circumstances (of course, he is obviously a wealthy man so .... )??? Suppose he said when it came to sex, you could have your choice of physical specimens to fulfill your PHYSICAL needs, so long as you only cuddle with HIM in his gold plated wheelchair???

It's difficult for all of us to hide our love for Holly. I suspect Larry "loves" her too!

I agree with you Burg-- I have tremendous respect for Larry, and not necessarily just as a porn icon. I went to the FSC dinner a few weeks ago, where he was honored with a Legacy award. They played a short video spanning his life and his fight for free speech. Sometimes you forget how historically and politically significant his actions have been because so many simply see him as the figurehead of a large porn company, so it was a really great thing to watch.

I was born while my mother was staff photographer at Hustler, so Larry has known me since I was an infant. In fact, I recently found a photo of my mother and Larry, holding me as a baby. I think Larry has always seen me in a sentimental, rather than a sexual way. Besides, considering his history with my mother, and my respect and good relations with his wife Liz and daughter Theresa, anything more than the daughter-ly affection that I have for him would be immensely inappropriate. I know you jest, Burglar, but there you have it.

Anyhow here is a picture of us from the signing. I'll be putting up an entire gallery on my site, but I thought this was a nice one.

I have one on order at Amazon.com, but it is not in stock yet. I hope they have it in by Christmas as I intend lugging it around at AEE and getting it signed by all and sundry.
